Everybody knows it's on FOX. So grab your favorite snack, sit back, and relax because it's time for some slightly edgy sitcoms and sketch comedy shows from the early 90's.
This is a compilation video I put together using footage of commercials and episodes from shows that played on Sunday nights (from 7 in the evening to 11 at night) on FOX in the year 1992, loosely based off schedules from that year. Married... With Children was just about the only show that couldn't be used for copyright reasons. It was substituted with another great show that played on FOX around the same time. Think of it as a retro remix or a bootleg television broadcast.
This is the ninety-ninth television compilation video I've uploaded. I've made quite a few videos centered around Fox Kids but never FOX and it's non-cartoon blocks. These are shows that I was a bit too young to be watching honestly but wound up watching with my family anyway. There's quite a few forgotten gems in this line-up as well as some that aren't quite gems. Yep, they really tried to make a live-action Bill & Ted show. Some of the shows will be familiar while others may include familiar faces that you weren't expecting. My absolute favorite out of the bunch is probably Get A Life. It's such a weird show, especially the second season. It was a joy to make this, so I hope you enjoy watching it as well.

I do watch that channel. It’s very funny that I hardly never cared for Nick at Nite when I was younger, but now I do. I tend to put it on at night when I’m ready for bed. I love that it’s black and white, even though I said a long time ago that black and white shows seem boring lol. Yeah, I love it and it’s pretty sad that Nick at Nite only airs Friends marathon episodes and never with other quality shows from that era. Crazy. I can’t believe you are one video away from #100! I wonder what it’s going to be and will you take time with that one before releasing it. Well, thank you for all the past videos you put your hard diligent work on them. You certainly separate yourself from the rest because look what’s happening now.

YES! Now this is what I'm talking about. You're bringing back my Sunday night childhood with Fox! Specifically In Living Color, Parker Lewis and Get Life. Though i remember more of In Living Color, Fox was the primary channel we watched on sundays at my house. This is really going to bring back to those times before my teen years.

For anyone who doesn’t know- for a couple years, Fox had The Simpsons on Thursday nights to compete with The Cosby Show, hence why it wasn’t mentioned in the description of the video

Great job as always. I save these in a Playlist and I get to put them on when doing chores. I used to want to make fake vhs tapes to do this, so I'm so glad I don't have to. I'm 37, so I was 5 during this programming block, lol. I started watching Fox in early 1994 with Power Rangers. My friend Charlie came over on it bus after school, and he didn't want to watch Barney. So it's cool to get a chance to experience this.

In Living Color, The Debut of Jim/James Carrey and Damon Waynes. Back when Network TV such as FOX was well worth watching during prime time and don't forget the the humor alone back then was fair game, that it didn't need to be unnecessarily called out by the viewers because they didn't like it but other viewers did. #NonStopFOX

I always remembered the cartoon that came on CBS for the first season and switched over on Fox for the second season. I always liked the theme music and the title sequence for that cartoon on CBS.

Wow. Chances are, I probably was watching this block on its original air date if this is from 1992. Watching Fox on Sundays was pretty much religion in my household. If this was 92, Parker Lewis was approaching the end of that show's life cycle. Herman's Head is RIDICULOUSLY underrated as a show. And Get a Life is a classic little gem. I wonder if different markets had different shows, because I remember Bill and Ted, but I never actually SAW it. And I mean that it literally didnt play on Fox in my area. In fact, I didnt even learn that show existed until the few past years. I would have watched it because I was a HUGE Bill and Ted fan from the movies and cartoon. For my family, In Living Color, and Married with Children were the Crown Jewels of Sunday Night Fox.

The year is 1992. Imagine FOX without football. No Scott Schreer theme. This is what you're looking at. A fledgling network looking to provide for a need that the other networks didn't. That's what set FOX apart in the end. Take the NFL on FOX theme itself, for instance. Other sports themes were, well, sporty. But Scott Schreer said "What if a sports theme was epic and orchestral? Other sports themes aren't doing that, we'll do that. We'll provide for people's need for an epic and orchestral sports theme." "No one else is doing it, and I bet people would like it if someone did it." That, in essence, was the FOX experiment.
