In this episode I will walk you through some headaches with the LMR "BLEM" Foxbody Coupe 1/4 window replacements. I will also show you how to safely remove your old windows and properly re-install new ones using the correct sealant.

I wonder if LMR or Daniel Carpenter would consider those attachment point 'blems' or defects worthy of replacement. I'm hoping that latter. If you hear from them I hope you share it.

That's a good question? Curious if anyone else has had any issues. I know a lot of people bought them but it doesn't mean they have installed them yet

Totally agree! Nothing like OEM! Another great video! I enjoy watchin em all! I’ve a bit of a side question. Have you had any dealings with Ryan from Team Visionz Racing? A couple of years back, I sent him two sets of coupe quarter glasses to restore, he’s since disappeared with my money, but more importantly with my 4 of my quarter glasses for a couple of my coupes. I know I’m not alone, I’ve read of plenty of people that he’s stiffed. I’m not tryin to Shit on anyone, just wondering if you or anyone else in this little community we have had had any luck getting their parts back?

The amount of prying force you were doing to remove that window scared the heck out of me! I was thinking that you were going to bust that window for sure. I took the razor method right from the get go, slowly worked my way around the inside then slowly put outward pressure till that crazy thing started to come out.

Those windows can take a lot. If you think that one was bad you should have seen the DECH 005 car

Just work slow and you should be fine. I used the razor method right from the get go. Go around the inside with the razor a few times to get thru the sealant as best as you can then slowly apply even pressure with you hands on the inside. Just becareful that the window does not fall out.

Maybe a silly question, but did Ford have a torque spec for those little bastards? and did Dan Carpenter reference any sort of spec in the install instructions? And, have you ever broken these during removal or install?

Never in all the foxes have I had an issue with OEM. I am sure there is a torque spec however if you can't even get them to seal???
