bro this vtx is sick, i flew 4km out with 0 break up and it didnt even get warm they are crazy good.

Do you use a ground station reciever ? Do you freeze your antenna ? I only get half that .

For those who consider this for a fixed wing design inside a fuselage for example, there are 5v 20x20mm fans that can be bought on Ebay and mounted to the VTX's included 20x20 holes and powered by the camera power out.

I've been using this VTx for almost a couple of months and i am loving it ! With lowest power mode it performed really well and at highest power mode, i was able to fly into a building with amazing penetration (obviously with some signal break-up, but not the worse) !! I highly recommend this vtx for long range quads !!

It's pretty awesome we are getting to see new stuff come out for analog still! Does that apply to all vtx's about race band 1 little more power output? HDZero has a larger bandwidth and multiple carriers for data. As a result it has to perform more amplification and gets wayy hotter than traditional analog which is just a single analog signal. The 30x30 freestyle vtx was the best they could do because it just gets hotter due to the technology. Only way a 20x20 would be able to come out is if they make their ICs smaller which is a ways away since chip manufacturing is expensive.

@@gmivisualsjason3729 well yeah 20x20 is possible but by cramming the components on there. The divimath chips are just too big right now. Won't be 1W though. I believe you're referring to the new foxeer.

my band and power settings revert back to 5 and 7 every time. I'll have to change my goggles to that channel and band combo lol. The power stays where I put it though...

If I set the connection wires in, Is there any way it can be made Water Resistant to spray etc? I'd like to use it on an RC Race Boat. Also are there any camera's that can be used around water as well?

Question!🙋♂️ so all my leds flash 5 times then followed by green led flashing 3 times. What does this mean? Can anyone help me set my frequency to get the best distance out of it. Right now I can’t fly not even 600 feet without my video going out

I read that I need a good antenna for this….I fly tbs pro32 hv with a small linear mmcx with no problems. Can I use this or do I need a bigger Omni? Kind regards

It might have over heated and a thermal breaker shut it off . Let it cool down and try again . Waljsnail shuts off on a bench too . Anywhere really if it over heats . But it has osd warning " temp. 100 degrees " Temo 112 degreees ---- temp 115 degrees blink blink bliink . And you can try to land if you notice it .

afaik you should measure analog signal on average mode not peak

There is is close to no change on the overall reading I did all the testing on this before hand.

It is set to peak mode but you can also see on the video that the span is just 80ms so it's pretty much just real-time measurement

I was aware of JB review but I don’t see for one minute how Foxeer would be sending out review samples as one thing and public release as another. It would be madness for them to do something as stupid as that. It would destroy them. While JB may have bought his that don’t mean it’s “more real”. If I felt for one minute there was something going on I would just buy it my self. I 100% don’t here. I think he has a bad unit. I specifically asked foxeer for 2 to test for variations. I see little between them.

With all the respect for the community to use analog system to race we have to use 25 mw, if one pilot needs to go far far way why does not use digital? I do not see a really good reason to burn brain cells to use analog to long range or deep penetration the final price will be higher too. Or I am wrong?

Analog drop off is more predictable, if you lose signal you're still probably still getting some video. Yes digital is generally more reliable but it has a tendency to just completely drop off without warning. And for bandos and freestyling 2.5w is amazing to penetrate concrete. Also there's price, and most people still use analog.

@@p.1206 as a user of dji I can't agree with that. The image degrades in such a way that we have plenty of time to react to signal loss. Only if we ignore these warnings will we get caught out. (With a few rare exceptions)

@@gmivisualsjason3729 just speaking from what I've seen. I have seen people have some random dropouts. Also there's the hard 13km limit.

@@p.1206 You dont get more penetration with more watts. You just get more range. Thats a big mistake ppl think like that.
