About a week ago someone set up a tent in my back garden. Since then, coffee, tea and toilet paper have been used up much faster and the shower often looks wet. Sometimes I hear someone laughing, but I don't see anyone - except for the dog, who now stands in front of my door every morning and, by looking intensely, asks for a sausage for breakfast.

Scottish canals are a lot quieter. I live in Kirkintilloch, right beside the Forth and Clyde canal, very rare to see anyone on the water tbh. A bridge needs lifted if anyone goes under, and can't remember the last time it moved lol Scotland still has flats/homes cheaper than buying a boat unlike down south

I live in the Caribbean and have followed all your vlogs…and introduced some others to you. We all love them. I have always wanted to have a narrowboat adventure while visiting so that’s on my bucket list for when travel becomes easier. What I have noticed is how much more Shaun speaks these days. I love to watch you every Friday, on or off the water. You always makes me smile 🙂 and relax. At first, I followed your videos, because of the boating and the amazing fantastic scenery, you are really good with your camera. Now, it feels like you are old friends, that I enjoy seeing on Fridays and share a laugh with. To Colin, Shaun & Otis. I wish you all the best in this next chapter of your life. I like you Colin find change extremely difficult. 20 years ago, I made a move from a 3,696 sq ft house to a 576 sq ft cottage. It's is quite amazing what you can collect and never really realize that you can live without. I, just this year got rid of boxes, that I brought with me 20 years ago and had never opened. Well enough said on that subject. Thanks again for sharing your lives with us. I for one, am looking forward to what you have in store for us. Respectfully Jessiah❣

I understand about not liking change, I always initially hate the idea and feel quite anxious, but given time I start to get used to it and am ok again, as long as there is no more changes for a long time! sad to say goodbye to the boat, but looking forward to what comes next. Best wishes

Even though I am heterosexual I love you guys and so does my partner Maureen. We are both more or less retired, other than the odd minor acting roles in films and TV (give us a nod if Amazon need some acting support for your next venture!!) so discovering you two on KZfaq is a go to entertainment when we have the time. I’m looking for an next adventure. I can’t even guess. I’d love to see the canals of Ireland 🇮🇪. My dad’s family came from Ireland. My mom’s family came from England. Maybe that’s why I enjoy your travel log so much but I suspect it is because you guys are so entertaining and loveable. 😊.

I remember moving last time selling the house and that gap in-between sold and the 150mile drive to Devon to the new, 3 hours homeless I have never clung onto a 7and a half tonner truck steering wheel down the M5 like that before!!! Great channel big Likes xx

As a regular viewer and crew member this vlog was you two riffing about the past and future, and I found I really funny. But if I'd have just been random KZfaq skimming I'd have thought it was two escaped, (I think the correct terminology is), bewildered blokes in a park rambling about a boat they once had, and one they were, at some undisclosed point in the future, going to get and a character, called Otis! I've not been so highly entertained for 16 minutes 15 seconds, since Morecombe and Wise finished. Thank you so much.

Yeah I guessed Scotland as well only because we stayed in a hotel like that , Unbeknown to me Mart told them Id used all the toilet rolls up I got a phone call from reception asking me to come down ,I shot down like a rocket passing Mart on the stairs shouting reception called it might be bad news ..like you do ..only to be met by a smerking lad who said your husband said you used all the toilet rolls and handed me a bag with about 20 toilet rolls in it, I ran back up the stairs hoping I would meet him on the way so I could smack him on the back of his head with them.. Good luck lads can't wait to see the new living quarters xx ☺

I have since sought therapy and I do indeed have aspergers. I can finally put a name to what I have been living with. The therapy is very helpful. Again thankyou from the bottom of my heart. ❤ And as if by coincidence. I too am temporarily homeless. If I wasn't working full time I'd embark on an adventure too. All the best to the both of you.

Very interested to find out who bought Silver Fox and what the new adventures will be. You had me tearing up again about leaving Silver Fox. I'm not good with change either---evidently not even someone else's change. Silver Fox was like a person in the story so she will be missed. ❤

On this side of the pond (USA) I heard in the 'news' the Queen now is the proud owner of Silver Fox and had asked everyone to stop whatever they are doing at 4PM Fridays so everyone can watch your videos. She also asked you change the name of your channel to "Hauling Otis'.

Oh, yes, you can't mistake the A9, just after the road goes over the railway bridge across the river from Dunkeld House. 13:14 looks like the A66, and they pass the 'Welcome to Scotland' sign at Gretna.

I love you both! Just another chapter. My partner and I are celebrating 30 years together. People always ask what is reason for our success, I always say "you take the good with the bad, and then think how your life would be with out your partner". I would miss him. Thankfully we have a good financial plan in place.

I had that feeling too this morning leaving our boat in overwater sad 😢 and missing hers lots already as we drove home from a week on her to Chester and back, I did get to meet Gary phillips though which was great made my day on chugs.enjoy your new venture I won’t spoil it by saying on here lol 😂 I know it’s brilliant just can’t wait to see it thanks 🙏 again guys xx
