As a Roosters supporter i've for the last few months been wondering if our recruitment strategy had changed for the worse. We used to always take underdog players or players with a chequered past wanting to redeem themselves or players who didn't get a fair shot anywhere else. Off the top of my head i'm thinking Todd Carney, Daniel Mortimer, Michael Jennings, JWH, Phil Graham, Luke O'Donnell, Jason Ryles, Michael Gordon, Matt Lodge, James Moloney. Every single one of them turned their careers around or had a great swan song at the club. I feel like our signings are being less like that now and as such the Roosters Culture is becoming less of a thing.

Kent should coach every side in the NRL on top of picking both Origin sides every year.

Roosters have been pretenders for 4 years now. They never recovered from losing Friend and Cordner. They've got a lock that gets sin binned every game, a halfback that's one bad concussion away from being medically retired, old slow forwards, an overworked fullback that's been carrying the team for years, second rowers losing their marbles on mushrooms, a 40 minute hooker, halves/backs playing out of position and an 18 year old show pony who's wasting everyone's time 🤣

These panels would be better if they were playing league in a 10m x 10m area and had 3 tackles per side with 2 or 3 players on each side. After each tackle they stop and chat about all this HS then play on and smash each other or score. Modern life has men talking cheap and not putting their skin in the game to back up their words! Get your league kit on and get out there and show some manly values behind your words! Stop gossiping like washer...

Being a rooster supporter I can't believe if any negative comment is directed towards Robbo the rhetoric and harassment directed back at you . People seem to forget in 2013 Robbo had a dream team as 18 and 19 . In 2016 the Roosters won 5 games and Robbo blamed himself . So he should have , getting rid of one of the best 5/8s in the comp and everyone knows what happened at Cronulla that year. Since 2022 the Roosters are going backwards with absolutely no excuses . We have scored 153 points in 9 games . Walker should be playing this week and Manu should be back in the centres Where he has room to move. Never forget what happened to Ricky Stuart when he inherited a gun side , after three grand finals the side went backwards and he was Sacked . The bottom line Robbo should be doing a lot better . People keep telling me how many trophies he's Won . A club with the best facilities. The biggest jersey sponsorship. At the end of every season when I sit in the auditorium at the Roosters leagues club listening to Robbo speak , there's one phrase he always repeats ; WE PLAY TO WIN COMPS !

What a joke, NRL 360 carry on worst than CNN . Their basically tied for third place on the ladder with 7 other teams. Its way to early in the season to worry as long as you are not tigers or dragons. The bookies still have roosters as 4th most likely to win the comp.

This is exactly what happens when a club like the roosters poach juniors and steal talent rather than spend time developing their own. It's good for short term success (2018 and 2019 premierships) but it eventually comes back to bite them on the ass. Same thing happened with the dogs; they made the 2012 and 2014 grand finals, then went off the rails and are still trying to bounce back.

There stars have just aged
