If the bank felt that it was an error, she should have made them go through a series of hoops, speak with several of her representatives, placed on hold for an hour before being disconnected and require them to fill out whatever paperwork according to the guidelines she's set. After review, she should reject the claim and if the bank disagrees with her decision, they can send a written request to have the case reviewed by a supervisor. Just like they do.

Bank employee says, here's the details, she's transfered it to her mates. Hence you must have a court order in my opinion to return it. took me 6 months to reimbusered from an "overseas" purchase. I live in the U.S. and someone purchased boots in China. It was only $125 but thats 1/5 of my paycheck. I understand 100% about the apology. One time at a supermarket, they gave me too little change back, and as it was a respectable sum they had incorrectly held back, I complained, and I had to go back the next day as they had to check camera footage. The next day, I went there, and they just gave me my money back with absolutely no apology, so I asked for an apology and they refused because they said it was an honest mistake and could have happened anywhere. So, I put the money back on the counter and told them they could have it, and I walked away

I feel like it's one thing if you don't have a steady string of deposited weekly checks from your job and they charge that fee, but if you have a check deposited from your job every week for the last several years on the same day, I don't see the issue with going negative in your account. It's not like the bank really loses it anyways. And sometimes it's really not your fault because the info on your phone banking app can be wrong or different companies charge their business with you on different days. I usually just yell at them on the phone and they reverse the charge.
