I totally agree that a thumbnail was very deceiving. During Covid it’s not fair to put all of the spending on Trump now that were post Covid. It’s a different story. Seeing the track history of Biden, and willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt

Well just what are the options then? If he (Rand) wants this then he should have challenged Trump. I generally like Rand Paul but some of the GOP still are not coming together like they should. Plenty of time to negotiate once Trump is elected. This obstinance just breeds instability within the GOP at a time we need absolute unity.

Rand Paul voted in favor of Trump’s billionaire tax cut which added more than a trillion dollars to the debt. That’s great, but at some point you need to focus on the issues that currently need disciplined focus. The national debt & Covid make great sound bites; they will always get people on both sides riled up, that’s why libertarian Paul loves to focus on them. They wrongly predict, that they will eventually hold office if they sit on the fence, and “be a voice of reason”, between the two “extremes”. The libertarian party is a laughing stock, Rand needs to separate himself from the filth in his childish party.

I like how Elon Musk cut X down to 25% of the work force and keeps it running. Foreign policy,is the trickiest ,needs to be strong and engaged. That prevents Ukraine, Taiwan, and Iran from funding terrorism to the extent that they are.

I believe he made it clear he endorsed Trump's policies. He is asking for a handful of very relevant things like draining the swamp which Trump did not do and an investigation into the COVID debacle and to be responsible with the debt management. I did not hear him bad mouth Trump. I would vote for Rand Paul and was hoping he would have been a VP consideration. I believe he will , as I will vote for Trump every time.

That's what I love about Rand Paul. What I absolutely hate is any politician who says the retirement age has to be raised to cover the debt. If I have seen it, many others have to where people in their mid 60s who had very physical jobs in their life time struggle. Retirement for them will be difficult. politicians created the problem,they should fix it and not on the backs of seniors!

Sure, but I liked what Rand had to say about this. Rand is very positive towards Trump and isn't undermining him at all, unlike somebody like Haley. He just cares about certain very valid issues and wants them addressed for a full endorsement. It is obvious that Rand generally supports Trump over Biden by a million miles.

I agree with Rand Paul concerning our deficit. Trump's spending was the ONLY problem I had with him during his term in office. We need to reel it in as soon as possible and I hope DJT does this when he gets back

You didn't have a problem with the tax cuts for rich people and not the middle class? You didn't have a problem his horrible tariffs with china that cost americans millions? Didn't have a problem with him pardoning Blackwater contractors who massacred unarmed Iraqi civilians, including innocent women and children? Trump spending was bad but when covid started in early 2019, we had to start stocking up on supplies, with breathing machines gloves other ppg that the democrats had depleted under Obama, Then he had to get researchnstarted on vaccines the his medical advisers said we needed. He could go by what his medical advisers said they needed it all cost money.All I know my groceries, my interest rates , sadly my beds were available some of which has been discontinued by big harms because Joe required them to cut the cost . Instead of losing money they quit making it started production up on the new weight loss drugs that they could make big money on

Trump should look at the Eisenhower model. Ike froze taxes and reduced spending which caused the economy to spike after Truman left office with a post Korean War recession and debt. Might be the way. Truman and Eisenhower both deported a lot of illegal aliens under their watch. Unfortunately, getting rid of them will cost more money. Keeping them will cost even more. Illegal immigration is also a driving force in inflation.

How is the headline deceiving? It's spot on; watch the video. There is no comparison between the two networks. CNN has pushed every hoax that has come it's way, from making Trump out to be a Russian agent to denying the Biden laptop's authenticity just before the election. It's exactly why CNN's viewership is steadily declining. People are tired of being repeatedly lied to.

a side note on the "National Debt"...............every president in my life time faced this seemingly inevitable curse......There are some good ideas being floated, one is to restore all drilling, and production of oil including Anwar, restoring LNG production, and take a percentage of profit to put toward the National Debt. That way, the citizens are not facing tax increases That idea comes from CEO Kevin O'Leary, who certainly knows the economy and its woe's

I disagree. The deficit should be a major concern. Trump had the pandemic to deal with that increased the deficit but under a second term he needs to lay out a plan to reduce that. Rand Paul has always been hawkish on deficit spending, I wish we had more of that in Washington.
