The whoops at our local track are deeper and closer together,,, very tricky for me.

Ed Morrow Try and get on top of them and keep your front wheel as light as possible. My old man always told me to treat wide open whoops sections like a pogo stick, all your work needs to be done with your legs and keep that front end light by staying on the back of the bike. Practice doesn’t make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.

What if the whoops are much closer together and there much deeper?

Hondapiloot If they're deeper and closer together, you will focus on getting your front wheel to skip from one to the next. Do not let the wheel touch the lowest part. If you're getting the front wheel to only touch near the tops of the faces of the whoops, you will find a magic "frequency" that will get the bike to skip across. When given a choice, use a higher gear.

Can't see any sand here just dried out dirt, "Dirt rollers" is the correct title. Go check a european track, this kind of woops are the smoother part of the track.
