Foxwell NT630 Elite OBD II scanner. Register, update, upload, print

Some information on the Foxwell NT-630 OBD II abs airbag scanner, this is one sweet tool about the only thing it does not do it hand you the tools to fix the problems. In this video we will go over registering, uploading and downloading both updates for the scanner and the results of your tests as well as how to print and putting your results into emails and word documents.
The Foxwell NT-630 Elite is amazing its probably more scanner than most folks will ever need but I believe Id rather have the option to do something I don't need than to need something I don't have. many of the test modes are frankly above my pay grade, so I do not go into detail on some of this scanners functions but please feel free to enlighten me in the comments section
I bought this one off Ebay from Foxwellbotique (store) the transaction was flawless the price was amazing the shipping time fast and the customer service was second to none, it has to be the best Ebay transaction I have ever had and I purchase online a lot. so if your in the market for a scanner (not just foxwell they have all sorts ) check them out. Im not affiliated with them in any way I get no kickbacks or nods etc Im just passing on the information as it was perfect

Great video. I'm only 3 years late. I just got one and got as far as the updates to the SD card, but then when I put it back into the scanner and hit "Update" to get card info onto the scanner itself, it either doesn't realize the card is inserted, or I get a SD card needs to be formatted, but can't be, or I get a bluescreen error saying it's updating, but it never does anything more :/ Any thoughts? Cheers.

Consigo fazer a troca do fluido de freio usar esse scanner automotivo foxwell nt630? Ele consegue acionar a bomba do ABS para retirar todo o fluido velho ? se ele dá certo para fazer isso me fala qual é a opção 👍 obrigado

The scanner appears great however pertaining to the srs crash data removal part I need more advice on that. I want to know if you change out the deployed airbags on a crashed vehicle the hard code stored in the eeprom can be removed making the srs module usable again. Please respond as soon as you can. Thanks.

the scanner does not do that it reads codes and can clear some minor sas airbag etc codes but anything major you still either need the pro scanner or take it to the dealer etc

First awesome video, I liked and subscribed half way through it! Any Idea why when I load my serial number of my NT630 ELETE on Foxassist it reads not valid number? I was watching when typing this comment I think you answered my???

So is this something you have to do to use it. I need to do a n abs auto bleed. And i have crappy internet. So im just lookin to plug in and go.

you need to do it maybe once if you only have one car and the files are small you can also download it and put it on a micro-sd then plug the disk into the unit

check the other websites there's one for different regions and they do not work if your in the wrong one its really confusing but you should only be able to log into the right one and have your reader recognized

connect the scanner to the computer load the foxscanner app sign in and all that jazz if you haven't already (register enter in your scanner number etc) go to the available downloads section and scroll through until you find the GM/ chevrolet package and download it then once done your ready to scan your truck. is that what you mean?

@@lewishawks2258 foxwells website password stuff is HORRIBLE and Ive never once gotten a reply from their support on it sometimes you have the wrong version of the app or for the wrong region they have different sites for different parts of the world. Ive had to uninstall and then install the right app before and had to log into different sites as well. once registered the scanner is attached to your account so dont loose the pass and log in info as I said its a major pain to get into it if you do and Ive always had to solve that part of things myself they never help at least online

@@lewishawks2258 Ive found it difficult to deal with the online and automated password side of foxwell, ive never had much luck and I suspect if Id not eventually figured it out myself Id still be trying to contact them I dont think I actually ever got a reply from foxwell itself, the dealer on Ebay was great but the websites were not overly helpful and the error messages are not clear so if you enter in a wrong password or email you get a standard "network error" good luck figuring out if its the pass word the email address or your connection to the website I found that frustrating I put that in the video saying dont loose your information as its seriously hard to get it sorted out. when you set up your account to get the APP etc you need to enter in the password and serial number on the scanner itself or in the information section of the scanner and once that is done that scanner is forever linked to that email address you need it to connect to update to get firmware upgrades etc. its like that to be able to charge people for updates on other scanners most for the shade tree mechanics do not need too because its a lifetime package I believe but for others like mechanics and technicians they have to pay

it does brake bleeding and so on and some resetting on select systems but the safety stuff like airbags and brakes its limited though foxwell does have a seperate scanner that does do them its pricey though
