I just bought a momentary 7 pin switch for my kolpin winch. The kolpin winch just has 3 wires, red, black, and blue. There was a rocker switch on it before. I hooked the 7 pin switch up the way you did with the jumpers and like how it says to do in the instructions, but it will only wheel the winch in and not let it out. Any ideas? I’m at a loss.

I only want the led to switch on and off with the button. No load. Whats the simple wiring for that? I'm hooking 10 of these up together and just want the leds to light when pressed.

Ok so if I add cooler electric fan on front of air conditioning consender in my F150 so that meant I need to use the fan wind pusher or puller???? My 5.4L has it own drive belt clutch fan.

So to make it simple the negative wire just simply goes to the battery as normal and this is more less added right into your positive connection to join hands so to speak. It’s just literally added to the positive connection in and out and even more simple terms the positive connections imply runs through the switch in one side out the other. Is this correct ??

Your fan was on as a puller when you attempted to use it as a pusher. Then when you flipped it in the video you made the fan a pusher. Curve of the blade or concave of the blade faces air flow.

Would be a good video except for background music.

The last example i.e Fan on / Light off etc, would work great for a high / low beam, via a relay, for headlights.

Hello friend, I am trying to wire up a 5 terminal switch, where the feed is coming through an emergency stop switch. I want to connect the switch to a variable frequency drive which feeds the motor. I have tried a few times but I don't seem to be able to get it right. I am trying to wire it in a way that when I press the switch the led light will come on and the VFD at the same time. I am a beginner and I would be grateful for any advice you could give me. Thanks, Bahram

I have a 2 pole toggle switch that controls some of my hot water heater but I'm trying to change the manual switch out with something that is wifi enables so I don't need to walk into the garage to turn on/off. Is there a way to replace one of these simple toggles with a wifi controller of some sort?

I can feel your chill and patient demeanour through the video. This is the most helpful video I've seen on LED push lights, I want to make a little board for my kid to be able to just press buttons as he likes to do that. I wouldn't have had the confidence to do it without this video, if I could ask one question it would be as each button is 12V does that mean you need 24V for two buttons? Sorry if that seems dim but I've got no electronics experience.

Followed this video thru 3 times. Thanks for the easy how to. My switch has the neutral middle. Hoping this works. Using the set up for a small radio control winch, that "should" have neutral(off) and cable in and out functions with the switch of the polarity on the small 270 motor

You are absolutely right. Using common sense this cable is useless and not working. I also saw a guy a few minutes ago using this cable. NO SIGNAL. With your video now I'm sure that this cable is useless. I wanted to save money buying this cable. But it is better to buy the converter. I was going to ask someone who knows if the converter is necessary but now I don't have to. Thank you very much.
