A John Deer Tractor then comes and harvests the crops every day and delivers the items to my farm yard!

Blasted brilliant series loving it. Just a small suggestion, why not have a simple shed the tractor pulls into at night and that's where it unloads!

My additional suggestion would be to start earlier ...what farmer sleeps in until 8AM?!!? But that's still a FANTASTIC build. So very charming and creative

Guess I'll echo myself, you could use Sir Nigel and perhaps future Locomotives for a single passenger - You. Just add a luxury cabin to all of em. If you have enough of those, you will avoid the issues that another tuber has on similar series and that is the extremely long train waiting times.

Unless I'm really mistaken, there are two recipes for the organic compost, the other one uses tree bark, straw, bone meal and dirt. Edit: Updated the recipe, can be seen in the vid @8.29. Tree bark can be automated with the create stripper.

As a Midwest USA boy who sees a lot of them I think you did a really nice job on that tractor! I wonder if you could have the arms of the harvester fold up when they’re not in use like some do in real life. Not sure if that’s possible on a train or not, but it would let you keep your grass outside the crop lanes. I would love to see all those crops stored in a big silo!

13:27 i made an infinite lava pool (10.000 source Blocks of lava in reach) for pumping with the hose pulley and pump it into a tank and also placed an open pipe directly over an 1x1x1 hole where i can constantly rightclick without moving to fill my tanks up. Also thought about automating it via deployers but rightclicking without moving for about an minute It's not the end of the world

Your best shot with making organic compost is with using tree bark. To get tree bark u just need to use an axe on a log and right click which gets you the bark and a stripped log. To automate it you'll just need to give an axe to a deployer and it'll debark the logs for you 😃

Better yet, use an axe on a slicer. It is quite fast and no durability loss on the axe.

Oh, and... strip farming different crops is actually a thing. Already commonly used for tulips and other flowers. It should be used for regular crops, too, because from a ecological perspective this arrangement is superior to monoculture farming - while also still machine compatible.

I kinda wish you built the farm in another area. The area you put it in looks like a cold climate. It looks really cool though so it doesn't matter honestly. Mostly typing to interact with the video for the algorithm. Love the tractor and how its all layed out. The chicken pope at the start was funny too.

You can add mechanical bearings to trains I think and they’ll turn according to how fast the train is moving which you could use on your forklifts and the tractor

o7 Godspeed, Pope. As simple as it is, I'd throw "Hauler" in as the name for the train. I grew up on Thomas and it feels right to me.

Great videos. For your visual bug with the minecart contraption, hit F3+A, it'll re-render chunks and should fix it. Can happen sometimes.

Train nerd moment. The freight loco is in BNSF livery, so name it after a famous train from one of its predecessor railroads, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe? Super Chief? El Capitan? Overland Limited? The ATSF had some really interesting names for trains!

I don’t know if it’s specific to mods though it might be worth a try. Rich soil should be able to “water” just like one water source. I could also be totally wrong and it was just specific to the one pack I was using. Anywho, it’s just a future thought. Your world your style. Which is what I love about your vids. 😊

For the train's name, how about "The Texan"? A nod to where BNSF (the railroad who's one of THOUSANDS of engines with that livery you replicated) is based?

Here is an ideas for a passenger train: villagers in minecarts , that when at a station they are rolled out like they are disembarking and villagers in minecarts embarking, need a bit of redstone though.

9:25 The straw is easy to gather with just wheat, wild grasses, and wild or cultivated rice stuff when you use the knife to harvest! You can use seeds and a knife in your off hand to gather all the straw when you harvest the crops manually, its meanto be early game sadly!

Very cool episode. The only thing that is missing in my opinion is a structure covering the dropoff station. Like a roof of some sort with sone tools here and there.

Amazing looking tractor and planter and a great video. Can't wait to see what happens next! Also here is an idea for the items to get to the barn, you could make a silo beside it with a grain auger and cart it in like that or make a hay lift in front of the barn and have it lift the items up into the barn through the front window. Just giving some ideas.

You need to use the screwdriver from the framed blocks mod in order to rotate the texture you put on the framed blocks. Assuming it is the framed blocks mod you are using.

Had an idea for the “passenger” train, why not have the trade hall on a train that just drives around rather than keeping them in your storage room, then you can walk up and down the cars with each car designed to each villager job like a farmer one and a blacksmith etc

@foxynotail You should reconsider on not using the rich soil as farmland, if you use the slicer with an axe you get bark which can then be used alongside bone meal and straw (put the harvested rice in the slicer with a knife, you'll get tons) to make the organic compost, no rotten flesh required. The rich soil also means mobs can't trample your crops

there is 1 trailer that is pulled by a tractor that is used for harvesting but its really small and used to harvest crops that grow in the ground like beets or carrots and also sense you said why you wont be building a combine and kinda makes sense (there are small ones too) I will not complain 24:28 (struggling to not complain 26:19)

Actually, Beetroots can be found in villages too. Sometimes they are planted on the farms there.

if you want to collect melons and pumpkins you will need to use saws or drills since they will destroy the blocks but leave the plants alone

Yey new foxy videoooo Edit 1: The phantom tracks being used to ascend The Pope to heaven is perfection Edit 2: I'm not saying you should, but you could use mechanical bearings to open the stable doors, or even have a sliding door using a piston if you're feeling fancy Edit 3: Wait if you didn't have phantom tracks how did Mr. Pope go up???
