Great video. Very high attention to detail What you've actually done is convince me to carry the transfer!!!! Trippier to the bench with Luton + Forest + Bournemouth next. Foden as Captain. Alvaraz to stay. With $ ITB and I can switch Alvaraz to Haaland (hopefully next week) with no other trades. Chip Strategy 1 looks the best. Colwill last on the bench with Wolves (H) & Palace (A) next. I'll trade him for Walker for the DGW 25. Many thanks

This is the best summary of the week for me. I really unplugged from FPL over the break so this is a great primer on what the current state of affairs is and the options available. Changed my captain to Richarlison after this one! Rolling transfer instead of panic selling Salah for no reason!

on the de bruyne point, about gamestate. people has such a short memory. the first game he got minutes was in the cup against Huddersfield, and he did exactly the same as in the newcastle match. combined with bobb, had an assist, bombed forward and looked great, even though city was winning 3-0 at that point, he never "sat back and just sprayed passes". Ofcourse he is a minutes risk, but he may start, and we all know what he is capable of. its just if you are willing to take that risk or not.

I think he will get 90 mins in the next 2 games, at best. Start against Burnley, get benched the next one due to the short turnaround. So for me it is better to just roll the transfer.

I'm thinking that (certain FA cup results depending) that there will be so few good teams in gameweek 29 that free hitters aren't going to get that much advantange in that week and maybe only getting 7 or 8 players out that week could still not be a complete disaster. Then you can either use the wildcard earlier, and hopefully then benefit longer from a "better" team overall becasue one of the strengths of the wildcard is it is the only chip that is not a one week wonder. So if you use it well, and not leave it until really late in the season, then you get a lot of weeks of increased returns vs waiting until GW33 or 35 and only getting a handful of fixtures with your new "optimal" team. So for me I'm keen on trying to aim for a scenario 2 type plan and get the bench boost out of the way early, then try to struggle through GW29 assuming no decent teams playing anyway, and hoping for low scoring that week. Then reap the rewards with GW 30 WC and then keep the free hit until 34 or 37 depending on how those doubles/blanks fall.

Triple captain is actually 2 extra games if you plan it during a double gw. Haaland can definitly outscore the bench when he gets 2 extra matches.

Not too worried about GW 29. People will free hit 11 players that most will score between 0-3pts. I just need a few players and a good captain and will probably only lose 20-30pts which I can easily recover with a better free hit later this season.

The idea KDB doesnt go back in that City team ASAP but Haaland does is mad. Its just the narrative of people who are only planning to own Salah, Haaland, Son, Trent. Plenty of ways to accomodate at a minimum two of those plus KDB if you want. You'd think he's never going to start another game/isnt integral to City chasing Liverpool down from the stay away vibes
