Honestly I don't remember. But in other simulators like Velocidrone you can adjust the weight of your quad, the motor's power, propeller pitch, gravity, etc.

Pedig azt használtam anno. Biztos nem az update kábelt küldték? Ugyanúgy néz ki, de az nem megy szimulátorral. Egyébként pár éve már mindegyik rádió sima USB-vel csatlakoztatható.

1000x times better and easier with a proper radio. In the meantime you should switch to 3D mode ( =0 throttle in the midpoint), it's a bit better manageable with an xbox controller that way.

Are you using a proper transmitter? With that the difference is day and night. I see no point in using e.g. Xbox controllers.

@@peters.galerie yes you are right, I used at the beginning xbox controller, after exactly 2 minutes I stopped. No now I'm using a turnigy 9x. But very difficult to do the laps

Traktor FPV we’ve been using an Xbox controller while we wait to borrow a real transmitter...been playing for around 6 hours and can do a few tricks but controlling the drone in races is terrible. It launches off as soon as the race starts and we can’t seem to get it to go slower! 😂

@@avatardrones Because the left stick should be pulled down for 0 throttle. Or you change the flight mode to 3D, then middle is 0%.

Hi, vergleichbare Strecken kann ich von Velocidrone nicht nennen, aber zum Anfang könntest du eventuell die beliebte Tracks wie z.B. Split-S, oder Castle Sneznik. Eigentlich machen alle Tracks sehr viel Spaß, man muss nur gucken, ob der Stil der Strecke zu ihm passt.

Your are best off with Velocidrone. Yeah the graphics are a bit outdated, but the physics engine is marvellous. Then you got DCL (the new guy, focused on racing), DRL (also rather serious sim), LiftOff (IMO the worst of all, but many people relly like it), TinyWhoopGO (FREE and awesome for whoops!), Real Drone Simulator (work in progress), etc, etc...

I’ve only tried Velocidrone, but it actually is pretty good. After about 25 hours of practice, I got to fly the real one and felt (almost) just like it. I would say that the only thing that is not properly simulated is prop-wash. So I had to re-learn some habits, like flying into my own dirty air. Other than that, is pretty much identical in handling

1200hrs? Wow! I've put down LiftOff after about 15 hours and never picked it up again. My choice of simulator today is Velocidrone for the awesome tracks and physics and TinyWhoop GO for all the smaller stuff. Though I don't really play with either of them, but rather go out and fly irl when I can :)

@@peters.galerie Yeah, I started with Velocidrone and learned to turn in it in the subway tunnels. It has some interesting maps but I didn't like it's physic or visuals. Liftoff on Fatnastic settings is the bomb. Like all simulators though, the default settings for your quad are aweful and you have to tweak them. I bought DRL and the graphics and maps were awesome, but again, I didn't like the physics or the racing quad. If they made a freestyle mode and offered you a freestyle quad you could tweak and let you go to any map you choise, instead of unlocking them, I might give it another shot. After a few hours I gave up on it. 1200 sounds like a lot, but if you play 2-3 hours a day as a way to have fun and relax, or wake up... then. Nt a problem. Think how many hours of after school TV ou watched... 2-3 huurs every weekday, it adds up.

Just keep practicing, eventually it will become muscle memory ;)

@@peters.galerie Thats the plan, its not easy with an Xbox controller as its very twitchy, but I figured its a good starting ground. And hopefully after about 100 hrs on the sticks I'll find the transition to real FPV goes well. :)

@@HeadstockFilms Switch to a normal drone radio as soon as possible. Even a 30-40€ controller like the BetaFPV Lite, or Flysky i6 are worlds apart from the Xbox gamepad. Simply because the Xbox game pad zeroes back to the middle and the drone radios (on the throttle axis) don't.
