Thank God for sending Jesus and the shedding of His blood for the remission of ALL sin. Because without Him I CANNOT be with the Father. John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. IT NEEDS TO BE PROCLAIMED!!!! Only Jesus can be our mediator to the Father .....NOBODY ELSE!!!! Ask the Lord to show you His truth. Time is short...His return for His bride is at hand!

Get in the trunk sweetie and get all that garbage to the dump. It's not that hard I was 36 years between confessions when I dragged my sorry sinful ass back to church. My blessed mother took me right to her son and told him look what came home. Been back twenty years this last Easter.

Fr Mike is so relatable and humble on so many aspects..I liked his analogy on priests being GOD's garbage men..it takes a lot of humility to say that ..😁 ..never stop making these vids..always look forward to them..GOD bless u guys

I fear the justice and wrath of almighty God for all my numerous sins and have spent a great amount of time with a bad conscience BUT when I go to confession I do not find a terrible judge, I always find Jesus and His consoling words of love and forgiveness. To me, the priest is not even there. We should.never fear going to our Creator in confession. He made us, He can fix us, no matter what the problem, whether it be spiritual, psychological, physical or sexual. I felt truly loved in a special way in confession like I have never felt anywhere else by anyone. Thank you Merciful Jesus.

@@TheJoyoftheFaith Thank you brother for your videos. I loved your video on the shroud. Now, thanks to you, whenever I pray the Holy Rosary and get to the Resurrection I now imagine Jesus returning to His body in an almighty, blinding flash burning His image into the shroud. Thanks for that :)

Fr Calloway mentioned seeking out the visitator priest to confess to..one who was not familiar to him. I feel like that too although I do confess to my pastor....I was led to another local priest yesterday and found it easier to confess to him. God does provide...comfortingly.

I try to confess once a month, With only one Priest, I sometimes worry about this too. Its really a matter of humbling yourself. Christ did say to his Apostles, Those who's sins you have forgiven, are forgiven. We need to remember, Christ has gave Our Priests the authority in Holy Orders, to absolve us. God is good in everything. 🙏

@@tony1685 Carefully reflect on your life as a Catholic. You did not make the effort to understand or practice your faith. Even now, what you know of Catholic doctrine is through a distorted filter. Anyone who knows and loves Jesus strongly desires to receive Him at Mass in Holy Eucharist. Preparation for this Sacrament is made through Confession of sins to the Priest and heart felt penance. Prayer is a regular part of your life. Catholic Bible study along with orthodox materials increase knowledge of the One Faith. Fellowship with other Catholics affirms your own belief. There are hundreds of sects each with their own belief and private Bible interpretation. The man made tradition of Protestants is to "disagree and divide". The Methodists are dividing right now over gay association. Divine authority is required to interpret the Bible. Without this authority any point that one wishes to make can be supported by taking Scripture out of context. The tract that you provided does just that. I recognize that my few words will not immediately persuade you to return home. Perhaps you might try reading even one orthodox book on Catholic theology or philosophy. For example, anything by G.K. Chesterton might make you think differently about the Faith. Even Protestant C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity" can bring you closer to Catholics. The door is always open.

How can you go to Confession without a real priest ? There are rarely any real priests left in these United States to administer real sacraments. V2 priests are NOT validly ordained !!!

Wow love the garbage reference. I'm 74 and never thought of it as that. The nice thing is now at 74 my garbage is pretty boring. So that's the way I'm going to think of it next time I go.

Two of my favorite priests. Putting out garbage and going for a spiritual diaper change. Love it. I try to go once a week before the garbage starts to pile up.

It's interesting to know we get our spiritual diapper changed when we go to confession. Thanks Fr. Calloway & Fr. Schmidt. I asked a priest if he ever remember s the sins of the person when he meet that person again? His answer was since he hears several confessions on a weekend probably he will forget 90% of the sins. Still he can remember some of it.

I’ve been going to confession it really helps except it when I walk away I’m like I want this on the paper but trying to read it out for me is very difficult I’m dyslexic and my handwriting is really horrible and then because the church is not exactly accessible I feel bad because the priest is standing there for like an hour away I’m trying to confess myself he’s very kind so it’s not a complaint I just hope that because I go and I confess the best I can and I have them written on paper although I might not be able to read them all out or scroll through my notes that God will still give me grace and the priest think it’s about time communion but sometimes I come home and I find stuff that I couldn’t read off of my notes even though I took the time to write it all down I do my prayers and that where it comes out and then I write it on the page yesBut it is extremely hard to leave it out so I always feel like I have to wait for communion because I couldn’t clearly read

Download the CatholicConfession app. It comes with a pin code so no one else can see the sins you write down. Then your handwriting won’t mess you up!!! And if you forget a sin in confession not on purpose (can’t read what you wrote down) you just confess it next time you go to confession. You are forgiven still and can take Eucharist as long as you don’t purposefully keep something from the priest. And don’t feel bad about the priest waiting. It’s his job :) God is pleased that you go even though it is difficult with dyslexia.

I am from Mumbai, India, and in spite of requesting the parish priest, he refused to hear Confession. He said Cardinal didn't permit Confession. I am not so happy about direct confession s, that is otherwise also done during the, I Confess prayer. Pl. Fr. guide me on this

How can one have a relationship with their spiritual mother when, according to the book The Glories of Mary, she despises (abhors?) those who commit sins of impurity? I surprise myself how long I've let go of the Faith.

She despises those sins but not the sinner if they come to repentance!!! Mary is such a great advocate for all sinners you never need to fear having a relationship with her. She warns people of their sins so they go to confession that’s all!! To strike repentance in their hearts.

Also many people pray to Mary (especially through the Rosary) to fight their own sins of impurity. Why would people have recourse to Mary if she despised them!!! She loves anyone who comes to her 💖

father is it a sin to smoke it for pain ..??i sort of works but not anymore so i have to repent......i need a Hip operation been trying to get one for 3 years ... no pain pills work but predazone thats all...but i cant take that much longer but i need the operation will solve this not the Pot...... thats all... so keep suffering and say my rosary.. i guess... i f i dont have nothing for the pain .. i cant move then thats sloth...i will be 60 this year i cant drinkl alcohol i have bad kidneys.. no pain pills work ....pray is my only answer from here ....i want to repent again....this covid has kept me away....Sloth is a bad sin so is pride and a few others ....thiss is not home for all of us... we are have to be on the right path to reach heaven thats home... but this great topic father

There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there's perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden.
