"Imagine you're God. You have an opportunity to use 33 years to save the world. To redeem the world. What do you do? You could go out as far and wide as possible. And Jesus did travel. You could speak to as many people as possible, and Jesus did speak. You could heal everybody, and Jesus did heal. Or, you could invest deeply in just a few, and promise your Holy Spirit and teach them to do what you do. Teach them to live how you live... 80% of His public ministry at that time was within a 5 mile radius. Why? Bc He wasn't going far and wide, He was going narrow and deep. He was investing deeply into these few people. He was saying I'm going to share My life with you so that you can share your life with others... This becomes the model for Christianity". -Fr Mike. Profound.

Why your 1st reaction after you saw a Priest to skip the video? Did you fear "someone" will change your way of thinking or is because you were taught not to listen Catholic Christian teachings? I always ask myself, why Pastors teaches not to get close to us? Why some Pastors teaches to hate us? I wonder is fear of allow them to listen the Truth. If other denominations are so sure about their teaching, they don't need to fear. Catholicism is MORE than what other religious saying we are... I invited you to continue search with open heart. You will discover the Truth.

Does one evangelize if they NEVER spread the message our Blessed Mother gave us from God at Fatima, Portugal in 1917? The only miracle in human history where the location, date, and time were given in advance: Miracle of the Sun at Fatima, Portugal 10/13/1917, Lucia stated that these are "GOD'S FINAL 2 REMEDIES" given at Fatima: pray the Holy Rosary daily and have devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary - love Jesus as Mary does. The message is obviously important. Imagine if all Catholics prayed the Holy Rosary daily and had devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We would have significantly fewer problems. How many people are going to hell because people refuse to spread the message of Fatima? Lucia stated this in an interview in 1957: Father, the Most Holy Virgin is very sad because no one has paid any attention to Her message, neither the good nor the bad. … the punishment from Heaven is imminent.. Catholics are not in the business of saving lives Mike 41:25, they are in the business of SAVING SOULS. We were given Gods final two remedies at Fatima. Have you tried to save souls (not lives) by praying the Holy Rosary daily? The most powerful prayer after the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the Holy Rosary and our Blessed Mother is sad because no one has paid attention to God's message at Fatima. What a shame. The Lord be with you. This is a heroic post and if you block it, you are a coward and servant of the devil. Praying for your salvation Mike. More fruit will be borne through the prayer of the Holy Rosary than through any other effort one could make. Mike, why did you say nothing about praying the Holy Rosary for souls? Do you really love our Blessed Mother. It is much easier to pray the Holy Rosary for the salvation of souls, than by any of the means you have given. I am sticking with God's plan given to us by our Blessed Mother at Fatima, you will too if you really cared about souls and not lives. St. Matthew 10 : 28 the HB tells us to worry those who kill the soul not those who kill the body.

Patrick, I appreciate your efforts to save our souls but even if you were right, yelling and accusing is not the way to go about evangelization. You will only push others away. It sounds like you only care about getting your point across and being right instead of caring about others with human dignity that are made in God’s image and likeness. Also you know nothing of Catholic teachings. How sad. Know that I’m praying for you. God bless!

I CALLED THIS MARKET in 2013! I couldn't agree with you more. We are to look up to priests as Christ representative but this priest is too much for me . I see no humility in him or the wisdom from the Holy Spirit. So sad so many of them praised and worship like the protestant and act like protestant but call themselves Catholic . We have bunch of them like that and lead people away from truth faith and humility.

I have been a catholic for the entire 23 years of my life, but in a large part because of your talks, especially your talk on the Eucharist and talks on the Mass, I have really fallen in love with being a catholic and have fallen much deeper in love with Jesus in the Eucharist, and I want to be the best I can be for Him. "Feeneyism", LeFebvrism, sedevacantism, 'rad-trad-ism', et al is essentially 'protest'-antism in another guise. Jesus Christ has given us the Magisterium to authentically interpret and present the Gospel. All of the above are attempts by private individuals to assert their private interpretation above that of the episcopal Magisterium in communion with St. Peter's successor as the visible source of unity in His one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I will be praying for you. Please pray for me. May God richly bless you with the fullness of His truth.

The Catholic church does not follow the Bible For example, the Bible teaches that we are not to bow down to statues (Exodus 20:4, 5). The Roman Catholic Church says that we should bow down to statues, not ancient tradition, but medieval tradition. The Bible teaches that all have sinned except Jesus (Romans 3:10-12, Hebrews 4:15). The Roman Catholic Church teaches that Mary was sinless. The Bible says that Jesus is the only mediator between man and God (1 Timothy 2:5). The Roman Catholic Church says Mary is co-mediator with Christ. The Bible teaches that Christ offered His sacrifice on the cross once and for all (Hebrews 7:27,28 10:10). The Roman Catholic Church teaches that the priest sacrifices Christ on the altar at every mass. The Bible teaches that all Christians are saints and priests (Ephesians 1:1 and 1 Peter 2:9). The Roman Catholic Church says that saints and priests are special casts within the Christian community. The Bible teaches that all Christians should know that they have eternal life (1 John 5:13). The Roman Catholic Church teaches that all Christians cannot and should not know that they have eternal life. The Bible teaches that we should call no religious leader “father” (Matthew 23:9). The Roman Catholic Church teaches that we may call the priests and pope “father.” The Bible teaches to not pray in vain repetition (Matthew 6:7). The Roman Catholic Church says to pray the Lord’s prayer or Hail Mary’s in vain repetition. The Bible teaches to confess your sins to God, for only God can forgive sin (Isaiah 43:25, Luke 5:24). The Roman Catholic Church says you must confess your sins to the priest for forgiveness. Moreover, the teachings of purgatory, limbo, and prayers for the dead are nowhere in Scripture, but clearly relics of paganism. The words of Jesus to the Pharisees apply today; we must not nullify the Word of God with manmade traditions (Matthew 15:6). Here’s an amazing fact-I bet you didn’t know that the first individual to identify the papal office as antichrist was a pope! Yes, Pope Gregory the Great, (540-604), who was the last of the four original Doctors of the Church (q.v.) and who became known as Saint Gregory, at the end of the ancient church period, said that such a church teaching came from the spirit of antichrist. He wrote, “I confidently affirm that whomever calls himself universal bishop or desires to be so called is in his pride a fore runner of antichrist.”

Jesus Christ promised never to leave nor forsake His one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church and He has not. The successor to St. Peter is the visible source of unity in the Church. The Second Vatican Council is the twentieth ecumenical council of the Church. The Mass / Eucharist is still valid. Not a single iota of the Chalcedonian understanding of the Nicene-Constantinopolitan creed which is a distillation of the teaching of God for our salvation in the sacred Scriptures, has been changed. Nothing essential to the validity of the Mass has been changed. You are living in a "protest"-ant community which only calls itself the "true" "catholic" "church".

An estimated 3,000 French Protestants were killed in Paris, and as many as 70,000 in all of France. The massacre of Saint Bartholomew’s Day it was carried out by Roman Catholic nobles, the catholic church celebrated the death of these protestant people by ringing the church bells, disgusting! Now my question is how can the catholic church be from God when the church history is full of blood? The protestants were killed simply because they read the bible, how in your right mind can you think that the catholic church is from God. Protestants follow the bible we dont follow the Pope " To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."(Isaiah 8:20)

Estella Barrera and how many did Protestants killed? What led to the killing? Who started it all? Which church compiled the Bible? Don’t just follow the propaganda you are being fed by Protestants cults, if you think Protestants are the real Christians then why is each and every sect in Protestants interprets the Bible differently from one another? What did they protest of?

I feel that true evangelization comes when we befriend people without investing in them. It's not a failure on my part if I bring Christ to someone and they reject Him, in fact God's will may be for me not to do it all myself. Perhaps I'm only watering the seed a little. I know the plant needs water and sun but if I try to give as much water and sun as I can give I may kill it. Rather I should ask God (the gardener) what each persom (seed) needs from me at that time and give that of myself. If we are worried about numbers we will often treat people as projects because it's become more about us and what we can do rather than about them and how we can bring Christ to them

Patrick Montgomery calling someone a silly? Matthew 5:22...making rash judgement 8th commandments... Teaching a heresy regarding "baptism" against the True Church Doctrine... The big question is after commiting these sins and bordering on heresy. Who gives you authority to interpret the scriptures based on your own interpretation? Can you site a verse where Jesus gives authority on individual that his personal interpretation is the TRUTH?

So much anger in this comment bro...how can you represent Jesus like this? Where is the love and mercy of Christ? Accusing, condemning...who is the accuser? That's what goes wrong with my protestant brothers and sisters; they are always protesting, no room for discussion and sound reasoning. It's so sad. Jesus, Mother Mary, St Joseph, St Patrick...all heaven loves you and pray for your sanctification Patrick. :) God bless you

sil·ly having or showing a lack of common sense or judgment; absurd and foolish. "another of his silly jokes" synonyms: foolish, stupid, unintelligent, idiotic, brainless, mindless, witless, imbecilic, doltish; More Ok, so you're not angry it's just mild word an IDLE WORD....you cannot escape by your admission Matthew 12:36-37 is for you. your statements: 1. you choose or prefer to believe your denominations lies and heresies.. We are not a denomination (LIES), we are the True Church founded by Jesus Christ. 2. because your bigotry!!! and biased viewpoint...??? That's not bigotry,..I'm defending my Church Teaching which you attack by your heresy... wear medals??...' born again ' by the Holy Spirit...without water.??? We had CCC and Church Magisterium and Pope who guide our faith & morals...who's teaching Authority was given by Jesus Christ. 3.BUT every real christian has the authority of the name of Jesus. Did Jesus gives you the Authority to Teach? and said that an individual interpretation is the TRUTH? 4.and in these days we have our own bible which give us God's view on life!!! and death!!! your OWN bible???really!...you are the one who belong to a denominations...who's style of preaching our beloved Pope Francis stated "Faith should not be IMPOSE!, it must be propose" and reminds us of individualism "there's no do it yourself in faith" we must belong to a Church. Also, please be thankful the Bible that you called your own, a Church had made an effort in the 4th Century to compiles the set of books that had been carefully selected and translated for the benefits of the Church and faithfuls. Finally, what you hold is only a personal opinion in matters of faith that you personally interpreted against a Catholic Church who guards the deposit of faith & traditions and put it in BLACK & WHITE in the Catechism of the Catholic Church...and who is the pillar & foundation of TRUTH?...it's not your opinion bro. Patrick sorry...sorry it's does not belongs to your personal interpretation of the bible that you just bought from the store...it belongs to a Church, the True Church founded by Jesus Christ...in which Jesus promised "the gates of hell shall not prevails"! Godbless! S&IHMMP4us.Amen

St. James went to Spain, and Spain went to the Philippines (with sword and cross: colonizers), 300+ years we've suffered, but we also learned (so much). Now, colonizers are gone, but Filipinos kept the faith. We rejected the sword, but kept the cross. We forgave those who abused us. Now, Filipinos are going to all places in the world, and they bring their faith with them. They bring only the cross; no sword. God bless us all!

These are great videos. I have taught RCIA for A LOT of years. But what we don't teach as part of the program is Evangelization. We really need to teach this in our churches. I agree that it is a bit intimidating to walk up to a stranger and say- Let me tell you about Jesus. So I have a couple simple ways to begin. 1) Go to the Dollar Store and buy some of those pocket sized New Testaments. Now 2) hand them out and say: My Boss would like you to get to know him. Do it on the city bus, or put a tip in one for the waiter, or whenever you are going to be with people. You never know when God will give you an opportunity. I'm a biker and attend a lot of motorcycle rallies. I'll get 2 cups of coffee or sodasand walk up to noher biker and hand him/her the drink with compliments of my Boss and hand them the little Bible. It always opens up conversation. I admit that a biker in leather can be a it intimidating but it certainly opens up lines of communication specially since people don't expect to be evangelized by a Catholic Biker. It works in plain clothes too. And remember, Catholic are the ORIGINAL CHRISTIANS! Don't forget to as if you may pray with them (the Holy Spirit will tell you what to say so don't worry) and invite them to ask questions and welcome them to investigate further. After a couple times it will gt easy to do.

A colleague of mine before was on the verge of looking for a church that she will try to go to a lively one. I invited her to come to my church. I asked her what’s your religion? She said, “I’m a Catholic but not attending for years & years.” “I am a catholic too,” I said. Go to a confession and I will go with you. She did after 30 + years. 🙏

How timely was this video for me.. wow. I just went to a meeting of the Catholic University students in my country yesterday and honestly it made me feel so depressed. I was given a message that there is a meeting for Catholic students in univerisities and I joined them despite being a major introvert. Because afterall these are people who are supposed to share the passion for the Lord with me. I wanted to experience the Lord's love everyday in every form I can get and thought that was what they were here for too. But only a 5 minute prayer ever talked about Jesus. Imagine! You bring Catholics together in a country in which Catholics are in the minority and you just leave God out of the meeting! Right away they went onto singing popular songs, having refreshments and playing games. It was fun, it truly was. But I thought since it was exclusively for Catholics that it had much more than that. It didn't bring me closer to Jesus than I was the day before. Didn't make friends who knew what it was like to be a passionate Catholic. It was the first meeting I attended but I asked the ones who regularly went and they said that was the norm. They have priests offer masses every now and then but no they dont actually sit and talk about Jesus. I am a leader for young girls at a Catholic Charismatic movement and I know how deeply I wanted to share the good news and how grave the responsibility of leading the flock really is. To see many exploit the role of Catholic leadership they get to simply make people have a good time and essentially please them with more worldly things instead of sharing the faith.. is just frustrating. Please keep the Catholic youth in your prayers. God bless you

My sister, laying in a hospital bed, dying, surrounded by family, only two catholics in the room. No one else, of the twenty other souls, even went to church. They were seeking so much, they needed direction, someone who could share God with us all. I failed. I wasnt confident enough. I asked for a priest,in the. Catholic hospital, to please come help my sister and pray. The entire room wanted this too. They were scared for my sister, and their own mortality. The priest didnt come he sent a deacon. The first thing outve the mans mouth was, No one is Catholic? Well i dont know what i can do. ( We prayed the our father and he turned to me, invited me to attend mass the next morning. Nothing else, left in a rush, like we gad cooties,) There was an opportunity to bring an entire room closer to God; we Catholics failed. Not one of my family now wants anything to do with Catholics, they only remember this about the church, and they scowl that no one made time for them or her.

I see the sincerity and passion of this homily but I still want to know more how you can apply this in real life for us who live in a secular world where we have jobs and social pressures. I have struggles with faith and I don't see how I could talk about faith in an authentic way without it being shallow or out of character. The people around me are busy and concerned with other thing, an opportunity to talk about such things is rare. How do we "evangelize" truly in an authentic and effective way?

Hey Angeline, Even I had the same doubts before I began watching this but I believe Father Mike has talked regarding this when he said ask God first for an opening and recognize an opening. Care for the people and not make them a subject of our ' evangelization' project. We are merely an instrument through whom the Father Almighty works. Even Jesus had said that noone can come unto him unless drawn by the Father. I believe that the Holy spirit will strongly move me to speak about Jesus when the time is right if I have prayed for an opening. God bless u sister.

I want to be able to talk to them about it but I feel too embarrassed to. So every night I pray to God to help there soul's and to give me strength to talk to them about it. Now I feel like I I can talk a bit more. I only have light discussions but it's a start.

Hi Father I'm 75 years old and I can't see well and so nobody wants to help me they think that's not a disability I guess. The thing that bothers me the most about my life in California is there is not one one normal Catholic priest that I can find they're all modernist it's so disheartening so finally I got the courage to start speaking up to them and tell him when they were giving a bad homily or when they were how can I say it when they were changing the words of Christ like once this priest told me he wasn't going to give me a blessing and I said why father and he goes because you know before the Eucharist I said this to King of King's father and you don't want me to nail before he goes no and I said father you are not a friend to Jesus he goes I know you know another time he said that he called on the mountain on the mountain where the three disciples went and Jesus on the transfiguration he said that Saint Elijah and Saint Moses were there with Jesus so I corrected and then I told him they weren't saints that Jesus hadn't died on the cross yet that they were in the place called jail or a dark place and I said they were in there with the Adam and Eve and everybody waiting much longer than we ever had to wait to get the Gates of heaven so what they were talking about Jesus was they were talking to him about what his Exodus from Jerusalem anyway this is just the same priest but every one of them say this they all speak heresy and they all speak blasphemy it's tiring and I don't I don't know if I'm just quit going to church then I can't receive you cuz I don't even know if they can bless you Chris cuz they came in through the Communist party I'm old enough to remember that so they were told they couldn't have any devotion to God they couldn't have a calling all these different things but father why doesn't anybody want to step into California and help us we're the biggest victims here I have a they won't help us with anything with all these immigrants and over me I have a man that to a Freemason and for it's been 20 almost 21 months he's been putting people in there to hurt me and cause me trouble and nobody in the leasing office will do anything and because I don't have much sight that's put me just in a terrible position and they throw bugs and dirt under my mental door frame that they took the screws off and nobody will the police are communist so nobody will do anything father I pray a lot can you help me help me Father be careful if you come here God bless you

I feel so bad for you as I’m reading that you are 77 years old and I’m sure that your vision has decreased with your age. I’m not being a smart Alec I have an 86-year-old mother, who went from having eyes in the back of her head as all mothers do, to be coming blind at 84 and she is currently rounding the bend. and towards 87. oh how I wish that you could go to our church. We actually have buses that come from the senior centers for our 1015 mass and there are always members of the church there to greet them and help them. Most of them in wheelchairs are walkers and they are in the back of the church but that’s not a problem they get their communion. It’s brought to them by one of the Eucharistic ministers. There are ushers that are back there just to meet their needs. Oh how I wish you went to our church and see things and I’m not being a smart Alec through your eyes and a church that truly loves its elders and respects them now I’m 66 and I’m rounding the bend to 67 and unfortunately, part of my mother’s eye disease is hereditary. Sometime in the next year and a half or so I will lose vision in my right eye, but I can have some type of surgery in my left. That will keep it going. But I know that every Sunday or any morning that I can make it there is someone that escorts me up for communion because I can go up and it’s important to me that I do . I’m not special or anything. I just happen to be gluten-free I’m a celiac got that from her too. Then gave it to my daughter and my two granddaughters so I feel really bad but there’s a special host for me that is consecrated when the rest of it is done, and I receive it before everyone else, so that there are no wheat on father’s fingers that would make me very sick, I think you would like us we sing a lot and we have a young priest who sings incredible and when he sings the mass it’s just like what I hope heaven is. I’m sorry that things don’t go well where you are. But I’ll make you deal I’ll pray for youand I’ll pray they get their act together and treat the elders of the church the way they deserve to be treated with honesty and respect.

Something interesting that I just noticed. No negative comment was written in this section. I think that this is because they have no good reason to do so. Because they agree with Fr. Mike Schmitz, but they don't have the courage to say otherwise; to say anything rude or rash, because deep in their hearts, they know that they will regret going against their own human nature.

As Mike said Jesus said in Matthew chapter 28 verse 19 " Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations." Verse 20 "and teach them to observe ALL the commands I give you." Jesus talking to his disciples commanded in Matthew chapter 23 verse 9 " YOU MUST CALL NO ONE on earth your FATHER !" My Catholic friends the Catholic priesthood are not disciples of the True Christ as they teach the opposite of what Christ simply commanded. Please open your Bibles and read the passages. I pray God opens your eyes and heart to His Truth and grant you repentance by His Grace. God Bless.

Narrow is the gate to salvation, there is no salvation outside of the Catholic church and most adult baptized Catholics go to hell unfortunately. A very small minority are saved. Always strive to walk the narrow path of salvation, and never ever presume that you are saved. We should always pray, do penance and carry our cross.

Junelle Salmon history what sense? It was never written to be a historical archive. It was written to spread a specific Christian narrative, to spread what early Christians considered to be “good news”. Historians have to critically analyze the text to get to the heart of any historical material that they might contain. That’s what historians do, the gospels do contain historical elements but there is also plenty of bias and uncritical writing. The two nativity narratives contradict each other and are not present in the earliest gospel (Mark) or the writings of Paul so they are not historical just narratives intended to bolster the importance and standing of Yeshua. Here is how an historian approaches the gospels critically ...... kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fa56eJqUytrPcmg.html

Patrick, I pray that I may persevere and be able to overcome temptations so that we can go to Heaven after death. We Roman Catholics must persevere in faith and be obedient to the end just like any Christian, as it says in the Bible, "The way that we may be sure that we know him is to keep his commandments." 1 John 2:3 And also, "Those on rocky ground are the ones, who, when they hear, receive the word with joy, but they have no root; they believe only fall away in time of trial." Luke 8:13 We, like any Christian, pray for God's Grace to keep us on the path to Heaven throughout our life.

Fear of fire Bisharat, whom you call Jesus, Jesus Christ, the son of Mary, with the seal of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, from your book The Gospel. (1) In the Gospel of John (14-15): "If you love me, keep my commandments, and I ask the Father to give you another comforter, so that He will stay with you forever." And the comforter is Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him (2) In the Gospel of John chapter (16-16: 7) on the tongue of Christ - peace be upon him - he addresses his disciples before leaving: "But I tell you the truth, it is better for you to go, because if I do not go, the comforter does not come to you", then Christ continues - Peace be upon him - talking about that comforter, saying: “I have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear now, but when that spirit of truth comes, it guides you to all truth, because he does not speak from himself, but whatever he hears speaks to him , And tells you things to come. " And the evangelization of Essa Muhammad in the Qur'an, the last of the heavenly books after the Bible {Taking Jesus the son of Mary said: O children of Israel, I am the Messenger of Allah to you confirming the hands of the Torah and promising a Messenger to come after me, named Ahmad when he came to them with clear proofs they said the magic shown} (Surah grade, verse 6). And in the Noble Qur’an, the book in which a word or letter has not been changed for 1,400 years, and God has challenged mankind and the jinn to do the same. God Almighty said in the Qur’an by the tongue of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him (He who disbelieves those who said that God is the Christ, the son of Mary, said: Christ serve God, my Lord, and your Lord, that He who engages in God, God has forbidden Heaven and his centenary fire) And God said: (He who disbelieves those who say that God is the third of the three) And God Almighty said: “God would not have taken from the Lord Almighty.” (Fear of fire Find and read the Quran.)
