did you just ask them for a black filter on the intake or did you have to buy it?

259whp? was this this first pull? what did your temps and humidity look like along with altitude? we managed 325whp out of mine on a dynojet.
@wrxt4cy7 жыл бұрын
Temp was about 90F and humidity was around 40%. Its about 600 ft above sea level. Keep in mind this is on 10 psi. We didn't raise boost higher than spring pressure and we don't tune the stock engines very aggressively either.

+wrxt4cy I figured it was pretty hot and high altitude. I was basically sea level in Wilmington NC and being tuned in 12 psi

Yeah, the difference sounds about right. A couple more psi on these cars makes a pretty good difference as does elevation & temp. This tune might also be more on the conservative side as it was setup for road racing so it will spend a lot of time in boost.

+wrxt4cy very cool, sounds like a very sound setup! I know I'm very pleased with my car boosted, its amazing the difference being forcefed makes

what all else did you buy to be able to boost to 12psi? and did you use oft to tune or did you go local

What kind of wing is that
@JealousPanda6 жыл бұрын
Its the Greddy x Rocket Bunny V1 GT wing. Stupid expensive though(2600 new). You can get a knock off replication and have your own wing ends and supports CNC'ed at a shop (the replicas usually have pressed fiberglass supports and mounting brackets. bad idea at high speeds). I did mine for about 500 bucks all together.

Is this the 500x kit?
@vethasvedm97365 жыл бұрын
Based on the bov location it looks like the v2 400x kit. The 500x kit on 93 is good for around 290 to 310.

I notice a lot of dyno plots for brz/frz turbo show power falling off sharply after 7000rpm, but yours seems to hold up to redline. any thoughts on that?
@wrxt4cy7 жыл бұрын
There is some tuning involved that can help with that and it can depend on the particular turbo setup and what boost is doing (peaking vs holding more flat) as well.
