​​​@@WhipCityWrencher Since the Fram Toughguard's felt end caps are physically glued to the filter media, this is probably the only felt end cap oil filter I would ever be comfortable using so far. Especially since they are such well built. I rarely see any other oil filters in this price point that filter down to 99% @ 20 microns while also having a silicone antidrainback valve. My go to Motorcraft oil filters aren't as reasonably priced nor available as they used to be. So this would make a great replacment for a shorter 3-4,000mi OCI when the Motorcraft, Wix, or the Fram Ultra Synthetic oil filters (that all have metal end caps) are out of stock. Other than the felt end caps, the fram toughguard is well built. Furthermore regarding the Fram Ultra Synthetic, I'm quite impressed with it due to its 99%+ @20 microns aswell as its solid build construction. It's a high quality filter. Thanks for the video.

@@WhipCityWrencher I usually use this filter on my ‘16 Honda Civic (TG7317). It’s rated for 15K miles, but my oci’s are in the 7K - 8K range. Cutting them open afterwards, they have held up pretty well…the pleating is still intact (no warbling) and the fiber end caps did not separate from the media. Blackstone Lab results showed good wear results, and they even recommended I could go 10k with this filter and oil (Quaker State Ultimate Durability 0W-20). Happy boy here! 😃
