I watched THIS when i was a KID. I recall finding this *"satisfying"* ...

My parents had fertility issues when trying to conceive me. My mom had all kinds of expensive and painful treatments done to have a baby. Seeing the pain infertility can cause is quite heart wrenching, even when it's shown in a more lighthearted manner like this.

This is truly a disturbing tale. A husband is depressed by his impotency. His wife eats until her belly grows, so the husband thinks it's a baby. Not wanting him to go back to being sad, she continues to eat. More and more, eventually becoming so obese that her body slowly becomes butter. The friends know that both are slowly growing psychotic and refusing to see reality for what it is, but just smile as they can't bring themselves to tell them. The wife gets a heart attack, but the delusional husband sees his friend go into labour first and thinks the same is happening to her. At the hospital, only one baby is born. Doctors remove the fat from the wife's body, saving her life. The father runs in, not to check on his wife, but to find the "baby". Just when the wife thinks her lie has been found out, the husband, blinded by delusion and his insecurities, notices the removed discarded fat and thinks it's his son. He gelatinous yellow mush out of the hospital and plays with it in the playground, much to his wife's horror and guilt. He even becomes devastated at seeing the mush run over by the real son of his friend, showing that he's afraid of losing the child he worked so hard to "create". He tries doing CPR, not realising that's not how you deal with being run over, then grabs the defibrilator, which finally shocks him back to his senses, while fixing his impotency.

This makes me feel for all the families who want babies. I’m a woman who doesn’t want kids currently and not sure if I will in the future, however, for someone else I know I’m extremely fertile and would gladly be a surrogate! I hope everyone out there who wants a baby and is wanting a child to love and take care of to be able to experience that. I hope you all out there finally get the dream baby you’ve all been wanting!
