Hugo Broos didn't select wingers who can dribble and eliminate defenders. Foster on the other side was making good movement but he was slow and not strong enough. Mvala looked lost and was making school errors. Hugo Broos style of play is good but he needs to select better players. as I young boy I remember when Bafana Bafana returned to world football back in '92 and was so excited. I even remember in high school when they qualified for the world cup in '98 it was exciting times... so much so that I used to say that with soccer being our biggest sport in South Africa, we can grow to become better on the international stage. With France 🇫🇷 there is clear consistency, continuity and identity. With that it's clear they have plan to aline with. Example 90% of their squad was here in South Africa during the 2010 world cup, they were coached by the same coach, they have included new faces (young blood) but core is still there. With us South Africa, since 2010 we've had six coaches at the helm. That means we keep coaches for two years and change. In our professional league there is no consistency with players or coaches either. The team that was fielded yesterday was nowhere during 2010, where have those players gone to. We have no succession plan. In the PSL Sundowns is superior because the standard is so low, yet we full ourselves in thinking we have the best league in Africa. Maybe administratively and financially, but definitely not the quality of football we play. We are going nowhere slowly 🐌 as a football nation.

Everytime i listen to Junior Khanye's analysis one will be forgiven for thinking that the guy has done it all in the South African football but i am quickly reminded that Khanye is probably the most critical underachiever of an analyst I've ever heard.
