The challenge is to play as France and only defend. We can defend our own territory and that of our friends, but we are not allowed to attack anyone or push the front lines. The plan is that our allies will take care of Germany, but you know how it is when you rely on your allies.

If the nation is franks and they assimilate the gauls the result is not the franks or gauls anymore its something different. If the nation is anglosaxon and they assimilate the normans than its not the anglosaxons or normans anymore, its the english now. Truth is not racist my friend, its just true. When the anglosaxons assimilate the danish and the norwegians, the result is again neither anglosaxon nor danish nor norvegian but the result is still 100% germanic. When the anglosaxons assimilate the normans, the result is neither germanic nor romanic.

The Soviets seem to have some kind of "auto-balancing" feature to them where they'll ignore war with Germany if you do anything weird to Germany (deny Sudetenland, form new roman empire, etc), at least on historical focuses. I think technically it's to prevent the game from being too easy or something but in practice, like in this game, it usually just ends up making the whole thing a miserable slog.

CHALLENGE: play switzerland and make the world neutral (i.e go to war with and puppet everyone who starts a war but dont start a war or puppet anyome who was either in a defensive war or never in a war, e.g if germany goes to war with czechoslovakia and you defeat germany, you need to release czechoslovakia as a free nation but puppet germany)

Unite China as R-KMT. Technically L-KMT would be a bigger challenge but I don't want to see red China. Or for bigger patriotism (still in Kaiserreich) pick Poland, knock out all of Reichspakt and Russia. Everyone is your puppet but annexing territory is NOT allowed.

Taureor, next time you do a campaign like these, try building planes, I know you dont like planes, but I think its the one think that can really help your allies (as I have previously played a defensive France before with planes, and took Germany down without coups just allies)

@@danielt2505 There is a hyphen bcs i am talking about the first republic. It is there to show the equality between slovaks and czechs that was before ww2 but unfortunately after ww2 czech were seen as the dominant people so they removed the hyphen.

I am not sure have you already done this sort of video, but i still propose. We have a phrase in Finland, ” telaketjudemokratiaa” = track democracy, comes from tanks. Play as United States. Bring democracy to the world with tanks. Puppet them.

There is strange "bug" in historic - if France, Netherlands or Czechoslovakia have not capitulated, Germany does not attack Soviets and often USSR ends up in a war with Allies.

One thing id like to see is an EU4 or Vic2 challenge video. Maybe in EU4 you could unify Japan, and set them up like they were before the Second World War. Or in Vic2 you could play as Poland and occupy Moscow (but i supppse you could also do that in EU4 lol)
