Yeah, this was fixed, as in the current version they rename the template "Landsturmregiment 2" and give you the crappy one. So 85 Army XP down the drain :-/ Also, you cannot bypass the Rhineland anymore if you're already opposing Hitler, but this can still be a useful trick to save some time.

As a side note: you mentioned that sending troops to sea was patched, however if you puppet a nation and send your troops into the puppet’s territory you can keep your troops during the Civil War. Also, I’m glad you’re back I missed your content.

Pro tip: So while they did fix sending your troops to sea (they teleport back actually), if you troops are on land, but NOT in your territory (either via military access, faction member, or a puppet) you will still keep all of them. So in this case had you puppeted Switzerland you could have kept your army in Switzerland until the civil war started.

I've found a way to keep your units in a civil war. If you send them into an ally's territory, for example asking for military access from Italy and placing your army there, the game won't take any units away, leaving you with your entire army while the enemy won't have any.

This challenge is based on one of my games, where I played as Poland. Requirements: Ironman Mode No Exploits Historical Focuses As Poland: 1. Go Communist 2. Join the Comintern 3. Accept Danzig or War 4. Wait until Germany attacks France then justify a war goal on Germany. 5. Attack Germany and call in the Comintern. 6. Defeat Germany before 1941 I did this by just getting the AI Soviets to do all the work, but I'd like to see how you tackle it.

You found out in an earlier video of yours where you can avoid losing troops in a civil war if you station them in a foreign nation. So you can ask Italy for military access, put your troops in it and then you won't lose a single regiment when the civil war breaks out.

Hey! I have a problem and I thought you could help me with it. I can only save one game, after that when I start another one it autosaves as the first game and can't go back to it. Can you help me?

i did the "Germany makes the world democratic" part 1-2 dlcs ago.. but it was like, conquer everwhere by reich, get a democratic reformer, change to democracy and release every possible country one by one as germany's democratic puppets.

I've done the civil war MANY times, but I honestly didn't even think of this tactic, and neither of bypassing remilitarization of rhineland by declaring war on a small nation and going to war

If you have a puppet and send your troops on a fallback line order in their territory, you get to keep these troops during a civil war, similar to the marine bug.

Just a little info, if you have a faction and do Fate of Czechoslovakia, you can get Hungary into your faction by giving them Slovakia. You can then go and do the Integrate War Economies focus earlier on if you'd like. I also personally like the way the borders look. Having that long tail of Slovakia is always kinda weird.
