I loved her books and am so happy she found a wonderful life living in Tuscany

I found the video shortly after moving to another area of US, buying a 120 yo house needing lots of work after a horrid life trauma . I settled in to write my way through trauma,worked in nursing for money thinking how many women have made new lives from scraps of old one. Then I read the book several times. I am grateful for the gift of story to get through the painful hard time.

I am currently reading, "Thoughts of Home: Reflections on Families, Houses, and Homelands from the Pages of House Beautiful," a long-since-published in 1995 collection of essays I found at John K. King Books here in Detroit, MI. Had no idea among the pure magic packed into these 292 pages, I'd soon happen upon, "Under the Etruscan Wall" written by Frances Mayes about Bramasole before her *Under the Tuscan Sun* days. The beautiful idea of Bramasole made me research further, which is where I learned she is who she is today. What a fascinating, inspiring discovery that moment became for me! Thank you again for having this here. Looks like I have more reading to do!

We restored circa 1700 Great Rock in West Wilton Village NH. Clearing stone walls of poison oak, flipping over wide Kings plank boards, and loving the wavy horse hair wall plaster was a privilege. I used to gaze out the 9 over 6 bubbled glass windows and see previous owners float by in bustles, hoop shirts and flapper dresses. Your books, villa and olive trees are an armchair, snowy day escape.

Writing about bramasoli as a human being in a book about the history of the house and the land and everything would be so great. You could call it Bromasoli
