Nice to learn about your friendship and to hear Francesca's story. I met my Italian cousins in 2000, in my ancestral town 1.5 hours southeast of Rome (Arce, province of Frosinone, "la Ciociaria.") Got my Italian passport a few years ago. My husband and I just bought a house in Spain, will be moving from U.S. late 2024 for good!

I have no real interest in moving, but it's always interesting to hear other people's stories about why they did and their experiences. One thing you didn't mention in the video - how was that shortcake?
