I really don´t think that Ronaldo has better skills. I think...the strengh of Ronaldo is his speed, his shoot and the athletic Body...and his height. He get the ball, a little skill and he pass his opponent....and than....BÄM..his absolute coolness in front of the keeper. Ribery is small....but he got the better technique...the better skills. Just my Opinion. Who deserves the ballon D`Or? Both......dependent on the criteria.

One name hold that title and that is Cristiano. I know he has a lot a traits and characteristics that people like to hate but you cannot deny his greatness. balon d'or is a nonsense award anyways, so i don't have a problem with it. however, it's not about whether a player has everything or not. this way, we would simply give the award to the theoretically best player every year over and over again. it's about your performance and achievements during the season. ronaldo didn't win _anything_ in 2013 and disappointed in decisive matches (gave up frustratedly, complained like a diva and didn't run back for defense). i think it's awkward how ribery wins europe's best player but another european player wins world's best player. so ronaldo is not europe's best player, but it's enough for being the world's best player? doesn't make sense. ribery is not the best player of the three, no doubt, but he played _by far_ the best and most unselfish season. balon d'or is a popularity glamour award, of course ribery didn't win it.

I think this might be the fault of Pep. His Tiki-Taka doesn't utilize the wingers as much as Heynckes did last year when he was definite top 5. Injuries have gotten in the way a bit as well.
