I would argue, as much as I love Gerard, Mikey, and Ray. MCR doesn’t work without Frank. His rhythmic melodies and Rhythm guitar style really adds to the songs. You could find another replacement but they wouldn’t have the mind Frank has to make those notes

fascinating how even THE frank iero feels this way too in his own band. it's a very cool moment of literally seeing someone you admire as a normal human being that is always learning. usually i feel that there's a barrier between fan and artist. if you don't put them on pedestal they're basically strangers. but this, it made me realize we're all the same at base. humans.

Frank is one of the beating hearts of MCR. It would not have been the same without him. The record that he started writing on is the one where MCR hit their stride and started making legendary songs. My Chemical Romance isn’t My Chem without Frank.

But he's more than enough and he's really talented. His backing vocals add so much to the songs and sound amazing, his guitar skills are amazing and every time I hear them I just get so happy I love him

MCR was my first concert back in 2007. I was in 6th grade. Still one of my fave bands and shows Ive ever been to. My little sister that was born in 2005, now 16 is obsessed with MCR. They are truly timeless. Bet my grandkids will rock out to some MCR!

I'm not the biggest fan of MCR, but the energy Frank brings to the table is truly impressive. His time in older emo/post hardcore bands really lent itself to MCR, especially when they were starting out.

I was blessed to have finally gotten to see My Chem perform last week at Milton Keynes, they were insane, as good as my teens. There is no MCR without Frank Iero!

Frank absolutely has a point about younger fans! I’m 18 and have been a huge my chem fan since I was around 12…which was still way after they even broke up! Moreover, I feel that mychem has really introduced me to a lot of other bands I love, and it’s just crazy how much one group can have on someone’s life.

I thought the same thing in high school and it's TRUE. Him AND MIKEY. Obviously he's good enough NOW. I feel like the band was just about to get going when Danger Days came out. And with the drummer thing and the BS label shit that makes a band not fun anymore. Think about it. Mikey learned how to play bass and then they went on tour. That's ridiculous. So of course it would take a while before every member was as strong as the next. Now even Mikey is like a good bassist. It's sad that the drummer thing happened. I can only imagine what they could've put out. Like when Blink broke up, all I could think about is how amazing the next album would've been. Putting all the AVA AND PLUS 44 SONGS MASHED TOGETHER TO MAKE A REAL ROCK RECORD. I used to hate that they got wrapped up in the emo wave. Murder by Death is one of the most underrated bands ever. If you've never checked them out do so

Frank was a huge part of their sound. You can just hear the difference between their first and second album (where he started to have a more prominent part of the melodies). He underestimates himself.
