Frank introduces Charles Castleman, who is still alive today and is a famed violin soloist and teacher. Jack just HAPPENS to walk in on Charlie when he's playing violin for the audience. No spoilers this time :)

I totally forgot that frank played the piano. I just loved the "diver", he had me on pins and needles the whole time. He was SO fluid in his motions, I could hardly breathe watching him nearly fall each time. That child was brilliant! SUCH talent at such an early age.

That "diver" was really talented!

That was Larry Griswold who was extremely talented as you mentioned and also helped develop the trampoline. He was sort of like the Victor Borge of gymnasts! He passed away in 1996.

Amazingly, Charles Castleman is still teaching and performing (at about age 72), according to his Internet site (easy to find with Google).

Charles is still very active. His main activity now is building up the violin program at U of Miami's Frost School of Music, and he gave master classes in Boston yesterday.

@TheTrueCinemaphile Yes, that date is correct. I've been trying to get part 3 up (a comedy sketch involving violins...) and apologize for the wait. :)

Apparently still alive, or at least his death is not recorded in the Wikipedia article. Born 1941.

Is this a chess reference?( Notice the outfit young Charles is wearing)Charles, who?you think?Hint: Wieanawski Competition 1935.

Charles Castleman was a child prodigy violinist who continued into adulthood both as a recording artist, a professor of music and performer. I don't understand your reference to chess or his wearing shorts, which was standard dress for most young boys. Also this show was from the early 1950s and young Charles was 10 years old so your 1935 reference is at least 10 years before he was born
