LOVE The Jack Benny Program!! Reminds me of being a young girl when my grandmother watched me and how she’d laugh. Miss those days. Such nicer times!!

For for my whole life I have loved jack . He is my mentor because I try to be a penny pincher and people love it when I act like jack. Long live penny pinchers.

In the 50's I love Lucy, The Honeymooners and The Jack Benny show were clearly better than the others and have standed the test of time

Eddie Anderson or better known as Rochester on the show. Long career in film and others but best known with Jack Benny. Wikipedia has more info..but he is a legend.

Like it but it has the feel of ancient geriatric humor, all respects to Mr. Allen, a man reminding me of my grandfather and a man in his prime in the 1930's. This very smart man died three years later. A different time. A different era, more tolerant of the popularity of the elderly than today, if sorely deficit in other ways in US society...
