I used to swim in that same particular spot back in the late 70's when it was a pool."ECHO PARK" I'm glad they turned it into a skate park for it to be enjoyed again 🛹.

@customvideo454 not that I recall? I know most of the movie was filmed up north in San Francisco. But I definitely know that in "Band this" a couple of scenes were filmed in Echo park🤘.

They are $85, but, I think you could probably get it on sale for 15% to 20% off when skate shops run sales. Or, if you make a review on the Skate One website, they give you 15% off. I wish they were cheaper as well, but, some of these boards really are a work of art. I just got the gray stained one. The wood, concave, and stain look epic. It looks so sweet, I don't even want to skate it, and normally, I get annoyed by people who just wall hang boards.

I got one of the gray stained ones. The board with the stain is a work of art in itself, let alone the graphics. I bought it to skate, but, it looks so sweet, I don't want to mess it up.

Cool deck I got the wood one. But man the tail is so small def take some getting used to also very aggressive concave I could see a lot of people not liking the deck for skating at first. But once you do it ca. shred

@@_....J........................ you are correct it was the Lance Mountain he rode but there is at least one spot in his part at 2:55 we're he does boneless to boardslide down a handrail and you will see it was the Vallely elephant deck with that trick. I remember he seemed to favor the Vallely deck mostly though as the bulldog deck is the same just bigger nose because that was the shape he was skating at the time his pro model was released. I was more familiar with his part in Propaganda. Watched that video every day after school to get stoked to go skate. Will check out Street Plant site thanks.

I noticed in one of the videos, it looked like he was riding a GeeGah shaped deck. I want to say the board had a Caballero dragon graphic on it. It's difficult to tell as the video image quality is poor

Pls reissue the Frankie Hill ear Powell Peralta, I had one in the natty back in 1990 and still my favourite board esp top graphic to this day , Frankie Hill inspired me for life.

@@jayamotor3523 If you are still looking, definitely try out the new Dragon formula ones. The 60mm Rat Bones Dragons are pretty much the perfect cruiser wheel IMHO. Not as soft as the ones Powell mentioned, but, they slide

He messed up his kneed bad in the mid-90s. He got back into it though and still skates today. Checkout his 9 Club interview

The ones I've seen in the Powell videos were mute, but, they were kind of tweaked to the side like a Japan. I would just call it a mute grab, but, I could be wrong

Yes, but, unfortunately, they only make a limited number and they sell out immediately. I tried buying one and within a minute of them going on sale, the website crashed and when it came back online, they were all sold out.
