I really dislike dayz right now, mainly because of all the players who think dayz is all about getting the most kills. Cause out of my 60 hours of playing not 1 person I've met in the game was friendly, they all tried to kill me when I was trying to communicate and the guy in the beginning is a clear example of what DayZ players are, no matter if it's the mod or standalone.

Pffff, they don't have time to fix glitches and stop hackers...They have cooking systems to implement!

I just got this game, and I am not very good. I found a guy, and I told him I was friendly and that I was new to the game. I asked him of help. He tells me that in his religion, it is a rule that you must punch everyone you see. With that he begins to punch me. I pull out my crowbar and smack him up the head a few times, yet his fists prevail. I am now unconscious. He laughs and shouts 'Welcome to DayZ motherfu****!' I regain consciousness. My screen is white, I am bleeding from several places, and I have been striped of all my items. My character soon dies. I love this game.

Frankie has inspired me to kill the bandits and help the weak. I have been playing DayZ standalone for about a solid week or two now (i played the mod before) and I am finally fully geared up. Now I spend my time helping freshies, killing bandits and building the protectors, my group to help protect the weak from the corrupt.

They have got to add the equivalent of STEAM_ID to dayz and give you messages for when you get killed who killed you and their ID so you can find who these hackers are! It wouldn't break the game at all or take away from the immersion because you would be dead the immersion is broken anyway at that point..

Some little kid like 13-14, gave me a SKS with full a clip in it and some food? I was just amazed at how generous he was but, it was a bit naive at the same time. I said thanks a million, and headed for sniper hill, killed a bandit. Took his gear, well whatever was left of it, majority was ruined. Fell back to Msta and waited to meet up with a friend. Best experience i have ever had on DayZ SA so far :) Its waaay more enjoyable to play as a Hero/Friendly than a Bandit. I recorded it too, and i have watched it so many times, makes me smile :)

Idk, maybe it's just my opinion but It just feels you were incredibly unlucky. I've played many many hours across dozens of characters and I rarely run into any hackers and major glitches. Just seems like this has really highlighted some rare, but understandably real issues surrounding the game. Frankie, try a hardcore server.
