Hello, I'm a young Korean subscriber. I'm young and can't study, so I use a translator to write something down. I've been having a hard time lately due to depression. I've been having a hard time listening to any song lately, but I've started to find and listen to songs by my grandfather that I don't understand the meaning of the lyrics. Even if I don't understand the meaning of the song, I get comfort from my grandfather when I listen to the song with his warm voice and guitar. Thank you. I think the translation will be weird, but I really wanted to comfort him and express my gratitude

Frank, thank you for speaking to my Soul. I somehow came across your channel at 10 pm on a Monday night and this was the first song I listened to. I am 26, began writing when I was 8. I have a new story in my head every 5 minutes; I have a blog, a podcast, endless unfinished notes, scrap papers all tucked away and infinite journals crammed from front-to-back. This spoke to me so deeply and beautifully. It really almost feels like the Universe put this in my way for a reason... I am such a believer in these things yet, gosh, I can't help but be awe-struck at this "coincidental" timing. I'm at a place in my life right now where I am feeling insecure and very self critical, perhaps more than I ever have been, and I don't know where it's come from - nor where it's going. But this has given me some strength. Now at the end of these lines I find myself tearing up. Thinking of my loved ones who have passed and who always wanted to see me thrive, the ones in my life now who I am so deathly afraid to lose before I create something "meaningful" in this world... The ones who will stand by my side for years to come whom I know are supporting me in my dreams ceaselessly... This song evoked so much in me as you can tell... And there is a solace I feel in sharing this amongst your gentle community. Thank you, Frank, and anyone who reads this, and God Bless 🕊️

I'm glad she keeps writing stories and that you keep singing songs and writing them. It is wonderful to have recognition but we should all keep writing our stories, singing our songs, making whatever art we love, no matter if anyone else sees it or hears it or loves it. Do it for yourselves! Personally my art which I work at every day doesn't sell but I keep making it and now I have started putting it out in my forest so I go on personal art walks to see how it has fared. Sometimes it is gone (squirrels? Raccoons?) and sometimes it rots away. I enjoy this. And Frank, I really enjoy your voice, guitar, and songs. Keep it up. I'm going to go find you on instagram now.

Thank you! I’m pretty surprised and happy with it, too! We had a conversation one morning/afternoon. Half an hour later he sends me the lyrics, and said he has a tune already half an hour after that! Watching Frank sing and play a song so personal, to me, is life changing. Found my pen and paper again. I feel new ‘stories’ coming on, and it’s almost as good a feeling as listening to Frank! ❤️🎶❤️

Thank YOU. As I replied to an earlier post, Frank and I were just shooting the breeze on stuff. Half an hour later he sent me the lyrics! And half an hour after that he reached out and said he already had a melody for it! But hearing that song materialize into THIS? Just incredible. I am so moved and honored.
