Jamie from 'No Frills Fishing' (Facebook) and I decided on a short notice jet ski camping trip at Fraser Island/K'gari. The wind had been howling for weeks and there were only 2 days where it dropped off enough before picking up again. So, with a bit of time-off each, we packed our stuff and did it! All started well - easy launch, excited, etc. About 5 mins in, as passing the northern cardinal, the tide chop picked up and I noticed the Insta360 camera wobbling a bit (as it normally does) and then all of a sudden.... it was gone! It didn't dampen spirits too much though, as we still had a bloody awesome time just chilling out fishing, drinking beers, relaxing and exploring. Good times!
