Nygkala rocks is so easy both ways if you drop your tyre pressure as i did to 14 psi and then chose the right gear for your vehicle. I chose 4 high in second gear and gave it a bit of grunt then eased off once over the top both ways. I drive a 2011 ford ranger 3 ltr Turbo diesel and it was childs play going through there 26 july 2021

People, here's some advice. NEVER buy a vehicle used that has been near the Island or near salt water, beach fishing or even from people that just like to stuff around driving up and down sand dunes for amusement. The SALT gets deep into the frame/body connection and other little crevices and it does NOT come out (all of it) and will rust your vehicle away to a 4 tonne pile of iron oxide. You will have endless rust issues which will get EXPENSIVE.

I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and took it on Fraser Island 2 years ago and there is not the slightest sign of rust on it. I made sure I sprayed rust preventer on the underbody and in all the nooks and cranny's and washed it down well as soon as I got off the Island. So all in all your advice is wrong.

@@p00595p Well Mr. Chan, you did everything wrong way round.

@@gortnewton4765 Yeah, I always wash mine before I go to the beach, it looks so much prettier.

@@stever285 It helps if you squirt underneath with salt-water and then spray sandy-salt afterwards.
