Went with the black bear all terrain’s as plenty of offroad grip with heavy side wall but good traction on road in the wet for the family

Generally, channel 10 is used for 4WD, recreation, National Parks etc. Although I've noticed that a lot of people just use 40 at 5 Rocks, Byfield.

Airing down, both the car and van is ALWAYS a good idea when on soft sand, mud etc. Do it before you get stuck, that way you're not as likely to get stuck.
