Freakahhzoid's BRUTAL Twister Submission at EBI | Geo Martinez

Geo "Freakahhzoid" Martinez (10th Planet Oceanside) is Eddie Bravo's top-ranked competitor in the 10th Planet rankings. He was able to capture the Bantamweight belt (EBI 2) and two Featherweight belts (EBI 1 and 10). At EBI 10, Geo was able to finish Eddie Cummings who was one of Danaher's top killers at the time.
The first half of the video highlights some of the transitions and finishes of the Truck including the Twister. Geo used these techniques in EBI 1 and EBI 2, which led him to become the champion.
The Truck is one of Geo's favorite position to attack from, he usually tests his opponent's pain tolerance by applying a calf crank. If not, he usually transitions to the Twister. I have included a brief breakdown of the Twister in the second half of the video.

I feel bad for whoever shows up to a tournament to see their opponent has one hand. There's no winning that. As soon as anybody sees you competing against a guy without a hand you lose all respect from everyone who knows you. Makes you look like that guy who showed up to beat up all the female boxers in that weird exhibition.

I have been involved in 10th planet for 5 years thanks to my coach back home, Adrian Jenkins. I've met a lot of the best guys and you wouldn't believe how these are all just regular dudes. Then it comes time to roll and you see the savage come out.

We held seminar with b-mac, geo and boogie and adalai clevland. Eddy came out once. The guys from gulf shores come to louisvilly, Ky every now and then. My team travels on a regular basis to 10p gyms, mostly gulf shores, richmond and Decatur. Personally I have only travelled once to Ann Arbor for leglockapalooza. That 2 day seminar was epic.
