As a white jazz, jam band, prog rock nerd, I don't listen to much rap, I've tried to do, it just doesn't catch my ear as much, I love the concept it just doesn't elicit a similar response that other music has, but I'm SUPER hooked on Freddie. He reminds me of like the Soulquarian/RH Factor/ Robert Glasper vibe there's so much bravado and energy behind his sometimes mellow delivery I absolutely adore it, loved him on Nightrider so excited to check this out

Carlton Lou if you mean just changing the pitch of the sample and keeping the timing then ableton has that built in, I don’t use it but I have before and it has that on it - FL has a pitch knob when you click on an audio track that does the same thing. Hope I helped!

hazeofthegreensmoke Hodgy’s been the only one he’s been on and off with while the others all just went their separate ways. The last two carnivals Tyler had Hodgy was the only OF member one who wasn’t present (besides Frank) and I noticed they don’t follow each other on IG but everyone else does. Hodgy would here and there say some shit about Tyler on Twitter and then deletes it. I have a feeling he’s gonna fully let loose on Tyler soon though.
