Freddie mi don...Gwaan build yuh brand. Mr Harper should remember sound nuh have sense, ah di selector weh deh behind it. You mi don is a GENERAL that has been killing sounds from day one both on Super Dee and Jaro, my respect brother. Nuts and Freddie wicked combination, killed all the so called dinosaurs on countless occasions, still not regarded SAD.

Muscle, this is another great interview! Lots of information unfolded. I can remember Jaro killed travellers back in December of 96 or January of 97. Then trooper and Freddy started playing sizzla fi sizzla . At that time, sizzla didn't buss big yet. Always thought the work relationship was good. Respect the journey that Freddy made and is still making. Thank you Boss and keep up the great work.👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

The so call dinosaur of dancehall Freddy should be included! Very versatile selector and me as a big man love the early warm in a dance hall and Freddy is better than all of them playing for big people. Never forget when Freddy draw some wicked Delroy Wilson in the middle of a dance just watching the crowd and knowing that it was big people time. Respect Freddy.

I attended a Jaro vs Stone Love clash in Spanish Town Oval, in 1992, Stone Love lost (despite being the cleanest sound in the lawn, thanks to Mark Dragon [InnerCity]): this is, if memories serves right, is the 2nd clash.

Because Freddie is not an assertive person, guys like Trooper step on him and almost stifled his post-Super Dee career. Freddie is a smarter selector than Trooper. Trooper must be given credit for modernizing Jaro, old boys like me felt that Jaro would pop down star; BUT Freddie can both juggle and clash, Trooper CANT juggle to save his life.

Also the jaro / crown in amazura was one of the most bias clashes ever. I was in the front of the stage for that crown could have played jesus and the 12 disciple on dubplate and still wouldn’t have gotten a forward. The ppl wanted jaro to win that bad.. all now trooper a play his sound alone… he needs to grow some yute like he did with nowa & grammy kid,,,.. try and get a interview with hype or keith you would heard this names nuff but i don’t think they get their proper due

Troopa is a bad fucking selector but freddy plays different from Jaro he would go down deep in the box and play tunes that trooper won't play he would play the same set of tune more times.the thing with trooper he has dutty ways and mi and him a family so I know Freddy nah tell no lie.
