I love how Freddy seemed genuinely nervous when he realized he was in the real world with Jason. Can’t blame him honestly.

The way Jason furiously flips a table upon seeing Freddy shows that he doesn’t view him as yet another enemy to fight but that he legitimately hates him. Freddy reverting him back to a kid and scaring him was bad enough but taunting him and his mother with her severed head pretty much made him Enemy No. 1.

The theater experience for this movie was utterly insane. I still remember going opening night, literally everybody screamed at the top of their lungs when Jason swung that machete at Freddy in the real world. Good times

People can say what they want to about this movie. It was AMAZING! it fullfilled every childhood horror matchup I could've imagined at the time. I loved it!

Even though this is not one of the best Jasons across the series, this particular scene is something we rarely got in the past. Jason kills those who enter his home or have done him any wrong in the past (her mother's killer, Alice, for instance), but in this movie, Freddy uses him like a minion, tricks him by making him believe he's his mother and tortures him while in the dream world... In this movie Jason still killed whoever got on his way, but only to move onto Freddy next, once he was brought back to the real world. Unlike his most other victims, this was personal for Jason.

The music that starts playing when they’re finally about to battle it out, is the best part of this movie!! I remember when I first watched it with some friends volume full blast it literally shook the house! I actually squealed lmao and all my guy friends started cheering while clanking their beers and all 😂 good times lol

I remember back when i first saw this movie as a kid (great idea, i know...) my dad had recently gotten me hooked on metal and rock & roll, so the music in this scene really made it a special moment for me. Awesome movie even despite it's obvious flaws!

As a teenager I related more to Jason and found him more intimidating and mysterious than Freddy. However, as an adult I really appreciate the wittiness and intelligence that Freddy brought to horror movies. That aside I think if Lori and Will hadn't interfered with Freddy's plan, Jason probably would've been completely destroyed, or at least trapped in Freddy's realm and under his control.
