After watching, I bought a sample of Portrait of a Lady and am now obsessed. It's beautiful. It's also the first niche fragrance for me. I'm up there in age and have been wearing designer fragrances for well over 50 years. Applause for opening a whole new world to me.I learn something new every day. POAL haas lifted my spirits during these pandemic days.

My first bottle and love at my first sniff from FM is Portrait of a Lady. Now I'm obsess on collecting Dominique Ropion's fragrance creations. Please make videos of your top 10 or any number based on the perfumers as well, kindly start from Dominique ropion, continued with Jean claude ellena, and to the others 😍😁💜

I’ve had The Night in my shopping cart for a month. I’m in love with it but it’s so damn pricey. I’ve been desperately sampling other frags hoping to find one comparable to satisfy the itch. I haven’t found anything like The Night yet. Love it!

Thank you for the review!! I had been waiting to watch this. BTW, I tried portrait of lady. It’s smells like tobacco on my skin. I like it but Rose smell is not very prominent on me. I wish it was more rosy.

another great video,i also find Potrait of a Lady the best,i remember you told me that fragrances of Frederic Malle need a trained nose to truly apriciat the fragrances and you were right you see 2 years ago when i started my journey into fragrances i did not like the fragrances of Frederic Malle at all and now 2 years and thousends of fragrances later i am i love with this house,i have Portrait of a Lady and Musk Ravageur and love love love them both

POAL is my most loved fragrance that I reserve for special occasions. It is simply that good. May start wearing it once in awhile at home to enjoy all the good memories it brings. It always deserves #1!!!

A review of the moon would be great! I'm a fan of the house, but I think there are better oud/roses for the money. If you've ever smelled Triad by Bortnikoff, I think it's a stunning rose/oud that doesn't cost over $1000!!

I love malle and love rose ,so it'll be interesting to hear your thoughts on all of these. Une rose is my personal favourite from the line👑 , then the night after that. Une fleur du cassie use to be more anamalic it seems to have been restrained since it was released.

So after looking through your videos I actually order samples from Fredric Mall as you and Dalya have recommanden alot of them. So I picked Portrait of a lady, Musc Ravegour and Lys Mediterranee. One was for men (Musk R), one for woman (Portarit of a lady) and one for both sexes (Lys Med.). Musk Ravegour smelled like candle wax and nothing more. Totally terrible on my skin. Lys Mediterranee just smelled strongly of lillys, lilly of the valley and Philadelphus coronarius (dont know the english name). I cant imagnen imagine any guy can pull that off as masculine. The only smell that I liked was portrait of a Lady which actually didnt smell feminine at all. It just smelled like a dark mystrious rose mixed with saffrone and incense (Updatet: After wearing it for a while it actually brings out some tea notes). I think I get Portrait of a Lady next time i buy a frag. I really love it!

I want so much to love POL . I’ve been a Fraghead going on 4 yrs now. Back then it just smelled dark and heavy😂 My nose is able to bit up the notes a lot better. I’m going to purchase a 10ml Still Rose-oud but another house Sebastian, had I known they were dc-ing Kilian’s Rose Oud I would’ve purchased a few bottles I’m trying to find something similar to Kilian’s Rose Oud I’ve gotten 2 1ml samples of Kemi’s Aurum. It’s only a 1ml. So I can’t go one this...the bottle is 400plus Is it close? Do you have suggestions?

I love the house and their fragrances. LOVE. But to me, The Night is the pinnacle of what the house can do if they decide to break all boundaries. The Night is the King of roses, whereas POAL is the queen.
