Charlie Charlton there is no comparison between the two women. She was a successful career woman and few care about this “commoner” nonsense. Mary is incredibly popular all over the world and many Brits even just love Mary and Frederik.

There is actually such a thing as a conservative Australian accent. In Australia it's looked upon in the same way as 'Posh' in England. According to stereotype, people with this accent usually don't work in 7-Eleven. And in spite of being 10 years old, I do remember Mary's accent was the same when she came to Denmark(my grandmother made me watch it).
