That’s because the movie’s sense of scale is kinda off, making the monsters look way smaller by having them move too fast

There’s also the fact that in the 2014 movie, Godzilla had differing sizes, some being beyond 600 ft, and considering that kotm sometimes tries to keep a similar sense of scale as 2014, you could be mixing it up.
