Join us for another ep as we explore Gnoorea Point, 40 Mile Beach, just south of Karratha.
This place is perfect for an extended offgrid stay for any nomad heading up the WA coast. Check out where you can find some well needed water supplies close by and the amazing diversity along the shoreline.
Cheers, ORT

Be careful in those little pools they are normally occupied by stone fish in the Pilbara

Another interesting video. Off topic, what brand of draw system do you have in your cruiser

Hi, they are the Outback drawer system from ARB. Very happy with them, solidly built and really liked the half depth drawer for the fridge. Cheers, ORT

How often are you getting the tinny off the roof? We are doing a 6 month trip next year following the WA coast. Seem to see a lot of roof top tinnies on 4wd's that rarely get taken down.

Hi Sam, we didn't get the tinny off in this spot due to the wind, but we use it ALL the time. I highly recommend you look at getting a fold up trailer to go with it if you do as it makes life so much easier. Check out our tinny rundown video to see our full setup. We love having the tinny as it opens up some much more to explore. Cheers, ORT

Hi, Off this topic, but wondering your thoughts on travelling with a dog. We want to take our family pet with us. We have done small trips with her in the past. What do you do with your dog when you want to do a day visit where dogs are not allowed. Any advice is appreciated. Safe travels. Ian

Hi Ian, its a really valid question. They are certainly part of the family. I would say that travelling with her definitely stops us from visiting some spots that we would like to, however I think it is just the price you pay to have the whole family together. We havent had any issues finding caravan parks that are dog friendly, its only if you want to day trip to national parks. There are lots of people also travelling with dogs that you could approach for dog sit swap days, or otherwise you just accept you have to miss some spots. If you are only going for a short time, I would consider getting them taken care of at home somewhere. For an extended trip, I'd take them along. Hope this helps. ORT
