DO YOU PLAY SIDE BETS AND WHY? 🧐
Yes. You will probably never see me playing a table game without playing the side bets. There are several reasons. The first being that I was once playing blackjack and opted not to play the side bets as I was down to my last few hands. Long story short, I would have won a very, very big progressive jackpot had I bet the $5 side bet. It still makes me feel sick when I think about it. 🙃 Secondly, I genuinely enjoy the thrill of side bets. I am fully aware that the odds are stacked against me on side bets, even more so than the actual casino games themselves, but I enjoy them. #sidebetqueen 👑

Yes, I do. I played slots a lot in the first year of my channel (2021). There are plenty of slot videos on my channel but this coming year (2022), I’m going to try and focus on table games more. That said, I have tried a lot of games (tables, slots, and video poker) for the very first time on my channel and thus learned the games while filming. I’ve been fortunate to receive helpful feedback to improve my play which others are able to learn from as well. So while I wouldn’t say I teach viewers how to play Blackjack or how to play Face Up Pai Gow, I would say that everyone in our community, myself included, takes turns teaching and learning depending on the game. In fairness, any 6/5 game will be generally be a much higher house edge than regular Blackjack. You can play 3/2 Free Bet at some casinos in Vegas.

@@LuckyLeeGaming They have 3:2 free bet blackjack in downtown Las Vegas. If you are just playing blackjack then casino has higher edge in this game. Pot of gold is where the money is on this game. Push 22 side bet is not a good side bet. Use that money on pot of gold. Do not bet to much on the main bet as sometimes you may sacrifice the main bet for pot of gold. For example if dealer is showing a 6 and you have 5s. You normally double down but you wouldn't since you are trying to collect gold coins. You would split your 5s against the dealer 6. I saw a video of free bet at the D so if you are playing only for filming you may check there.

Lucky, if you have to play this game again, I suggest not to bet on the sides everytime. Be patient and wait for a long period in which the dealer hasn't had 22. Also the free bet is the feature here, so shift money away from the sides and add to the only bet that you can make free bet on.

Great video. I hate the 6:5 blackjack payout though, and the $5 side bets keep eating into your profit when you win. I'd say maybe try a $2 bet on each of the side bets. If it hits you're still winning a nice amount, and you won't kill your stack as quickly.

I hope you have learned by now to never, Never, NEVER, play 6 to 5 blackjack in any form. It increases the house advantage by 400%. If you bet $100 on 6 to 5 you get paid $120 vs. 3 to 2 blackjack you get paid $150. That makes a huge differance in your potential winnings.

With the 3/2 version having a house edge of 1% (with an easier playing strategy) I can think of a lot of casino games that have far worse odds than this.

Dealer had 22 which is an automatic push, so she didn't "win" with her 20. Similar to dealer's ace-high Pai Gow pushing automatically

Do me a favor and try to stay away from this game as much as you can in the house edge is enormous N You have so much more fun in better luck with the other regular blackjack games

Twice when he got 22, he paid the side bet but not your $25 bet? Very hard game to win on.

Yes, that's correct. One of the caveats on this variation is that all hands push when the dealer busts on a 22 🙃
