Cracker Barrel is a great RV place to stay for FREE but there’s a lot more to it than just pulling into the parking lot.
Cracker Barrel is one of our favorite places to stay for those over nighters while traveling.
We spent about 2 months up in Maine the summer of 2022 and we stayed at this Cracker Barrel going up to Maine and coming back to Texas in the fall. Like everything else in life, you can just wing it and hope for the best, or learn the best practices to make your trip go a lot easier and problem free. And that’s what I’m going to cover today.
So we’ve left Maine and now we’re in NY, heading west on I86 to Jefferson, OH and we’re going to stop about 1/2 way in a town called Horseheads, NY.

I just came back from a 2 week trip in our 34' motorhome. Martin was on my mind everyday as I went about taking care of different items on the coach. Martin was selfless, a true hero in my book. He's left this world way too soon and will be sorely missed by many. With all of the videos that were produced, his legacy lives on, helping others everyday. May he rest in peace.

Wow just read the comments that Martin went to RV heaven? Martin was indeed selfless. As far as I can tell, he dedicated most of the latter part of his life to helping many, many people who he never met, and he never asked anything in return. I'm literally new to this RV life, haven't even spent one night in it yet, but thanks to Martin, I've already learned so much that I will avoid hundreds of mistakes and problems over the years. Martin has helped thousands. We should all go to heaven with legacies like that! Rest in Peace buddy, because all the campgrounds up there have full hookups.

Curious what other RV'ers think about Martin leaving the toad attached. With a dolly, I agree that it's too much trouble. But with the flat towing rig he had? We set up for flat towing this spring and the ease of detaching/attaching has been a revelation. I would have parked the RV in the rightmost RV spot and happily moved the toad to a nearby car spot. Martin will be missed. One of the most entertaining and informative personalities on youtube. So sorry to hear about his passing.

I lost my husband in March of 2022 so I can relate, but we all loved you and Martin so much. I hope your happy memories make you smile and all the you tube videos from RV Street.

Thank you so much. The videos make me cry when I watch them but I still watch them just to see him and hear his voice.🥲

Hey Martin!!! What do you do about the dreadful surface rust that develops? Wife and and sold our home 2 yrs ago and are full timing in Galveston, TX. Beautiful here but am noticing rust starting to appear on our motorhome. Thanks man!!!
