Welcome to the second and final part of our mini series on how to melt complex objects with fine details, textures and multiple materials. All without melting your pc as well! In the first part we built a setup to retain geometric detail and now we're bringing materials, uv coordinates and textures over to our fluid and finally render everything in Karma.

Dear guys, is there any method to export properly normals into alembic? im trying to render in cad but one project have proper normals, another one wont have them... (normal tag in cad)

Hey @debakowski! Look at your node info, if the normals are there and just to be sure delete those normals and create new ones. Then export again as alembic. There is also a chance that this is not a problem with houdini. Then you have to also check your settings in cad! Hope this helps :)

I hate to be harsh but this doesn't look cool at all. It doesn't look like something is melting, just deflating. This looks like something I could make in Cinema 4D in 20 minutes.
