Great video Joyin - thanks. There are some lovely things in there. I love how you're encouraging the adventurous beginner - that's how we we learn and get better, isn't it! I have always knitted but still felt I was a beginner until recently, when I started trying more interesting and complex things, only to find they were quite achievable after all!

great episode! Could you please leave the images of the patterns you highlight up longer? Often times I am not glued to the screen as i'm knitting or doing whatever task at hand, and miss the 2 seconds it's displayed. Leave them up for the duration you are talking about them. Thanks for a great episode.

I love these pattern recommendations, I definitely want to try the Strikkeskolens Hue. Another free pattern dupe is the two-by-two hat by Anne Gagnon for the Hipster Hat by PetiteKnit.
