I downloaded the Particle illusion free standalone version in 2022 and wanted to install all the emitters but looks like emitters from 2020 and 2021 are not available for download anymore from the official page unless they're the emitters from 2022, is there a way to get the previous ones?

I wish I could enter into a rode reel but I just don't have the man power to make it happen.. All of my talent have complicating schedules that conflict with production. So everything is very slow going.

Looks WAY better than Trapcode Particular actually. One question though: is it really slow? It seems really beefy and feels like it would bog down my computer.

Fast for me 8 gigs of ram i do however have a 1650ti but ive also run on a dell optiplex 4 gigs of ram with on board graphics no prob

This REALLLLLLLY looks like the same Illusion I bought way back in 2001. I demand a refund for my $299!!! Haha I still have the email from my purchase to Impulse Inc.. The guy's name was Larry (last name withheld for privacy reasons?), from Las Vegas. I'm guessing he sold it, and why not?!?! Guess I'll get the free one too. Thanks guys!

Great video! Boris FX acquired WonderTouch, the original developer of Particle Illusion, and has added quite a lot of features: making it a plugin, making it support 64 bit operating systems, adding 3D and quite a lot more.

I'm having trouble downloading it for some reason. It refuses to let me simply sign in and download it, it keeps taking me to a "Register Here" menu that doesn't work because the country and state selector won't load. I signed up on my own and I'm trying to just sign in to download but it won't work. What am I doing wrong?

Yes - the plugin version can be driven by the AE 3D camera.

Hey can someone help me out? I clicked the first link to download the particles and set it up and everything but can't find it on my laptop. Not sure what to do or if I did something wrong. Also if I press buy now it makes me pay for it.

@@VFXProductionsRT Yes when it was done I pressed open in Finder and clicked on it, then I had to register for the software and agree to some things. I completed it but nothing happened, I can't even look at the particles that comes with it. (I am on my Mac Laptop)

@@kenziesmith9433 that's strange I'm sorry to hear that, I didn't have an issue with mine it just installed like any regular software and appears in the programs panel (on Windows). On the website when you downloaded it did you select the Mac version? borisfx.com/downloads/?product=particle%20illusion

@@kenziesmith9433 I think that's just for the paid for plugin version, the standalone shouldn't require a host as far as I know. You might need to see if there's a contact email for Boris FX

and that makes Free...clear. I have no fucking idea wtff that means, bro LOL I think you also have to show the impact of your effect on your surroundings, not just with that same color (filter), but the light. That cloud over the building has light in it, so the space on the ground has to have animated bright and shadow areas within a faded boundary with the right roll offs??? By the way, congrats for being the judge, you deserve it always. But, I want to see your short films. Give us your films!!
