Yeah. We could talk about gas cans. Any gas can made in the last ten years under these EPA rules is as demented as the younger generation. Meant to prevent spills, causes twice as many spills.
@timderks5960
@timderks5960 5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, or the older generation is just too old and stubborn to try and understand how to use new stuff. We can generalize and think our respective generations are the best all day long, that won't get us anywhere, especially since it's complete and utter BS to think that a generation only has one type of people. Each generation has smart and stupid people, in equal amounts.

My neighbor threw one of those to the curb, 7hp tecumseh. I cleaned the carb and when I went to screw the bowl back in the brass bolt snapped off lol whoops. Guess it was too old. Bought a replacement carburetor on amazon for $12, and I'm back in action with my free snow blower again! Those old tecumseh snowking engines are solid as long as you keep the oil level proper. They were built about 15 minutes away from my house before the factory closed.

Connor...I laughed at the gas disposal and a few other things...but one serious question...is your furnace to heat your house located in the garage? I was doing the same thing one day and then quickly realized I shouldn't be using starter fluid and cleaning a carb in the garage because the furnace is in there...LOL. I quickly opened the door and aired things out before I had a problem. Not trying to be a safety sally, but figured I should mention it. Congrats on the snow blower!

The nut or bolt that holds the bowl on has holes in it. Clean the holes out. There is a very small hole near the top of the threads, and two larger ones near the head. Time for a helicoil for the muffler bolts. Good little machine!

Dude same here, but paid 50$. It's also hard to get it running most of the time, similarly to what's shown in the video. I will have to try the fix. I dont have the owners manual cause it's so old but could you tell me how the choke and throttle positions are supposed to be set when you start it? I tried multiple setups and eventually I am able to start it but I have to really try multiple times with the electric starter (dont have the other way, missing the handle/string to pull)

Those older snow blowers generally have a large gap between the impeller and the impeller housing, which causes loss of throwing distance and clogging up of the chute with heavy wet snow. Try putting an impeller kit on it and you'll be amazed at the improvement in throwing distance, plus it will never clog up. Just search "impeller kit" on Amazon. Pretty easy install.
