I miss Richmond Proyer too. 😔 I miss George Carlin too. 😔 Grew up listening to them both. They both did it all for everyone. Red Foxx was another great comedian that we used to listen to. None of them could do their normal routines on Johnny Carson 😊 and that was funny in itself. Rest in Peace all of you. Hope you are all together being so funny 🙏🤗✌️❤️🌼

Imagine watching this when you were seven or eight. On the bright side, between his stories, Carlin's and Robin William's tales of bad drugs, letting me watch this was probably one of the most effective things my parents ever did to keep me off from drugs. On the bad side, I learned VERY quickly these weren't jokes I could tell the next day at school.

@someguy9471
@someguy9471 5 ай бұрын
I used to smoke cocaine out of a gravity bong. I’d buy an 8 ball and split in half. 1 half for snorting and 1 half for smoking and I would load a gravity bowl with maybe 25% weed and 75% cocaine making sure to mix the 2 substances well because cocaine doesn’t burn as easy as pot. I’d hit that shit for 4 days without sleeping or eating. You talk about an addiction, shit! Rich is 100% correct, it tells you when to wake up and when to sleep. Makes all your decisions for you. I had some fun times on it but after overdosing 3 times I finally got tired of it. Haven’t done it in 7 years and don’t miss it one bit. You couldn’t pay me to do cocaine now, too old for that shit now, I’d probably die 😂
@Jim_L
@Jim_L 5 ай бұрын
What did the high feel like for you that made you like it so much? I never tried crack, but I had an old, old friend who was once a crack addict, and he described the feeling like an orgasm times a thousand. When he told me that, I vowed never to try even a wee-wee little tiny puff, because I know I'd be hooked if I did. Just a regular orgasm feels pretty fricken' amazing -- but times that by a thousand?! Oh my goodness, I'd be out of my mind.
@someguy9471
@someguy9471 5 ай бұрын
@@Jim_L It’s a compelling high to be sure. I describe it as almost like being a kid again. You know how when you were a child, the world seemed to burn a lot brighter? You felt good all the time, your senses were a lot higher than they are now, you can see more , smell more, taste more, hear better. Everything is funnier, everything is interesting there’s no boredom to speak of. I just felt so good inside and out when I did it. But I actually preferred to snort cocaine as opposed to smoking it because the high lasted a lot longer. As far as intensity goes I couldn’t tell a difference. Smoking cocaine was just a way for me to conserve it, make my gram or 8 ball last longer that way. You need considerably less cocaine if you’re smoking it but the problem is the heartbeat factor. I can’t count how many times I’d smoke maybe 3 or 4 hits of that shit after snorting it all day and then as my high wore down I’d try to go to sleep and that’s when I’d start feeling my heart slam against my chest and then the most intense form of paranoia would hit me like a ton of bricks. On 3 of those occasions I ended up in the hospital and one of those times was a legit cocaine induced heart attack. You’re wise to have never tried it, you’re not missing much and if you do decide to do it whatever you do DO NOT SMOKE IT and stay hydrated because that shit will dry you out faster than you can blink
@Jim_L
@Jim_L 5 ай бұрын
@@someguy9471 You say you'd do it for four days without sleeping or eating, yet you describe the high as being fun, like being a kid, where everything was funnier, no boredom, etc. I don't get it -- where does the fun come into play? I can picture the way my old friend described it -- i.e., like an orgasm times a thousand -- and how that would lead one to want to do it over and over again. But he never described crack like you have. He never mentioned the fun part of it. Just a lot of that physical orgasm sensation. I could see why he would want to feel that over and over again. He also described the not sleeping and not eating for days and the erratic heartbeats, but he never said any of it was fun, so I don't get where the fun part comes into play with your own experiences. I'm not at all doubting you; I'm just saying. My old friend also described the incredible, incredible coming down feelings as intense depression, which is one of the big parts of why he would want to then turn around and do more crack so as to avoid coming down from it. But no, no, no, I have no desire to ever try it, and I never did (I'm in my upper 50s). I was just saying that after the way he described the feeling of the high that if I ever did cater the thought of smoking crack, well, that ended those thoughts for me. Congrats on your seven years of being clean. That's really, truly wonderful, my friend. And thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.

Pryor was the god... don't matter to me that at this point most of his shit was written by Paul Mooney, no one could deliver on stage like Richard... the true GOAT of comedy If you want the real reason why he set himself on fire, check out the movie JoJo Dancer, Your Life Is Calling

Watch him & Flip Wilson’s old bodyguard talking about Hollywood parties & how Paul Mooney SA’d his son at a young age. Said if Richard Sr hadn’t caught on fire a week later, Mooney wouldn’t have lived out the year.

@@WayneDuncan-c1e @WayneDuncan-c1e hmmm... I've seen the interview and I know what he said, but Richard lived for years after the fire incident, if that is true then why didn't Pryor do anything about it after he recovered? Smells like bullshit to me, dude is just trying to make money by talking shit about dead people who can't dispute what he says

He ain't wrong, you can't get away from it and when you do. The withdraws are so bad. You either say that withdraw was so bad and I never want to feel that again or you go back 😔
