At least they added a torture scene on Sonic Unleashed where Sonic gets tortured by Eggman where later on he turns into a Werehog.

Well, in Sonic forces, Sonic is more mature, he despite being tortured will not let his sense of humor aside, as he does not want to show fear, and ALWAYS feels confident that he will win. That's why I love Sonic, despite his worst moments, he knows that even though Eggman has every chance of winning, he knows he can beat him. Already the torture of Lilac, she was only useful for the Torque to disclose to Brevon ........ AND MORE NOTHING. Lilac just screwed up if she was tortured and felt the biggest physical pain possible, and did not mature with it, did not develop the character. She was just sad to get lost from her friends and be used as a bargaining chip ...... And remembering, I think she was a child yet. I thought the scene was for the story to be heavier and such ........ and it was well forced that scene in my opinion. Although I think the details of lilac after the shock are cool.

Torture is one of those things that is often reserved for far more mature games--call of duty and that kind of thing--because the actual subject matter can be disturbing to some audiences. Seeing it in a game with this art style and feel to it is absolutely shocking (no pun intended).

@@Brendan-kx8iy And...? A good villain it's not about power levels but how much of a threat is to the main cast to keep the main conflict of the story. Brevon's still a good sample of a villain who knows how to cause fear to the whole main cast and he's even able to make em questioning their own actions, with how much of a mistake was to cross his way. He's not the best, that's for sure, there are more stories with more complexion in fiction, but it's understandable if someone considers Brevon one of theur favoritr villains of all time as he's still an excellent villain for games like this.

You have to admit though, for all brevon’s monstrous deeds, he’s RIGHT. Lilac’s belief that Breton was just another “villain of the week” and not an actual threat, plus her constantly being a complete Leeroy Jenkins for the entire game up to that point, has put her closest friends in MONUMENTAL danger 24/7, causing carol to storm away. He didn’t break her through torture, he broke her through the truth.

Sonic Forces wasn't even meant to have a scene torturing Sonic. Knuckles only mentioned the torture in the English script whereas it was absent in the original Japanese version. The English writers chose to add that line for the sake of edginess.

Sonic Forces is a shitty game, and the torture scene proves it. THIS right here is exactly what should’ve been seen with the prisoners and maybe Sonic inside of the prison. I don’t know why Sega tried to mix 15+ different tones into Forces to appeal to kids but it failed miserably.

@@gabrielelkins7136 Dont know much about those characters but normal humans can evade and survive them, so that should be easy for her to survive given Lilac is Wall Level. Now characters with actual decent speed and power on the other hand, murder her ass. General Grievous or Durge from Star Wars both take her to their rape vans, lmao. That’s how badly outclassed she is. Let alone overpowered characters like Sonic, Shadow, Goku, or Vegeta.
