My favorite part of this scene is where Jace knows that he was dead and he asks Clary if she's okay. That is love, right there, when you care more for others than yourself.

Okay, Alyssa, THAT IS THE MOST ACCURATE THING ANYONE HAS EVER SAID. That is exactly what true love is. I'm writing my own romance novel, and I have to know these things. And I know that if someone is badly injured and the first thing they do when they recover consciousness/energy/life is ask if the other is okay, YOU KNOW RIGHT THERE WHAT'S HAPPENING. Jace literally DIED. And when he wakes up after Clary brings him back, the only thing you hear besides Clary gasping in total happiness is him asking her, "are you okay?" Pretty freakin sure that on the inside Clary was yelling, "OF COURSE I'M OKAY!!!! YOU'RE ALIVE!!!!!" I can't stop watching scenes like this over and over because of how beautiful this romance is. If it's true love, I won't stop rewatching it. Seriously, would it be weird to thank you for writing that comment?!!

and yet it was Raziel who so cruelly took away all of Clary's powers and memories and separated her from Jace the love of her life in the end, even after she used her powers to save the world so many times and single-handedly saved the world when she killed Jonathan. In the end Raziel proved that he is arrogant and self-righteous spiteful being who was so backwards in his thinking.

hina zainab We are talking about the serie!When someone is talking about something different than you then you dont have the right to call him a liar.Instead you can watch the serie to understand why we say that Jocelyn died,a demon peposed Alec and Alec got her heart out of her body.Even the funeral is done.The serie includes lots of the things that the books include but some like this are different,or maybe in season 3 a plot twist will take place and Jocelyn will be finally alive as it happend with Clary and Jace that they are not siblings and it was all a lie

@@gigibadawy5097 I think what they mean is that Clary isn't just half human blooded and half Angel blooded she is actually more angel blood than human blood, it's what makes her special, what gives her her extra powers hope that makes sense :)

In the books the angel refused to fulfill Valentine's wish, so he said that he did not want to come to that but that the angel was obliged to fulfill his wish.Telling him that only the owner of who wrote the runes on the altar could ask for it, since moments before Clary had written a rune on top of Valentine's, and the angel killed him Then the angel said to Clary: what is your wish? And she thought of various things but in the end she knew that the only thing she could really bring and want was Jace, so Clary said :Jace, Bring him back, the Angel said close his eyes Clarissa and Clary when she closed them, the only thing she saw was Jace and suddenly she could hear his voice, she felt like he went on his back and someone told her: Clary opens her eyes and there was Jace, they decided not to tell anyone about it and he did tell her that among everything he could ask, he asked him, and then Clary thought:And I would ask you again and again ❤️

I don't think the angel knew what would've happened to Jace but he would've known that bringing people back from the dead always had a consequence. In Jace's case, being brought back from the dead made him vulnerable to Lilith's manipulation which turned him into the owl.

Jenna Beard i’m super late. But I’ll explain. Ok so basically when the first shadowhunter was created the angel Raziel gave them the mortal instruments being the cup, sword and ofc the mirror being lake Lynn. And he then promised that if shadowhunters were to ever fail their purpose in being on earth that he would come and rid the world of demons and demon blooded creatures (basically downworlders) and that is like a re-assurance to shadowhunters being that is the angel’s words and he’s promised that to the first and the other generations of shadowhunters. So clary wishing Jace back just broke that wish. Meaning that promise is no longer a promise or a wish anymore. So if shadowhunters were to fail at their job then the Angel can’t do much bc clary took that wish away but I can’t blame her for it though.

So if I'm remembering correctly (been a while since I read the books) all Nephilim have angel blood in them but while Jocelyn and Celine (Jace's mom) were pregnant, Valentine made them drink angel blood which he took from an angel he somehow trapped in the basement of his mansion in Alicante, without their knowledge because he wanted to make insanely strong Shadowhunters to wipe out all demons and Downworlders. They're kind of like Shadowhunter super soldiers and it's the reason why Jace has gold eyes and is way better than everyone else and why Clary can create runes and portals.
